Guest guest
I'd be very careful of the retarded person if he can't tell you how he's feeling. My father, who is a large man and weighs 245 pounds, but has leukemia and diabetes, gets slightly nauseated on just 2 drops (he can take one without much discomfort). Not enough to throw up, but uncomfortable feeling, and it lasts all day. I can't think of any way your person could tell you that, and you'd hate for him to feel sick all the time. I don't know of any clues for this except the look in the eyes perhaps, or whether or not he curtails any activity. Samala, -------Original Message------- Does anyone have any suggestions on monitoring a severely mentally retarded person for side effects?
