Guest guest
Hi Margaret- A tendency to have cysts often indicates an iodine deficiency. Dana From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Margaret Rittenhouse I recently read testimonials about using essential oils (I believe it was frankincense) to get rid of cysts. Be sure to buy the good stuff -- apparently there are a lot of oils out there with fillers, etc.
Guest guest
ebay sells for 5$ emergency iodine supplement just in case of nuke diaster that will give your thyroid 4 months worth of table salt iodine to saturate it and prevent absorbtion of natural radioactive iodine that causes cancer. Knowing that I took a few of those just to see if I would feel better as my hormones are declining (iodine is used to procuce hormones) and bingo I did need some because after taking two pills I developed acne for the first time in my life. If one has the slightest suspicsion that lack of iodine causes anythign including cytst it does not cost much to test for that Rats I thought it was my body getting rid of toxins. >> Hi Margaret-> > A tendency to have cysts often indicates an iodine deficiency.> > Dana> > > > _____ > > From: > [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Margaret> Rittenhouse> > > > I recently read testimonials about using essential oils (I believe it was> frankincense) to get rid of cysts. Guest guest
Your best source of natural iodine is kelp. I had fun yesterday morning, I took a kelp bath. I had bought a whole lot of Maine Coast Sea Vegetables Kelp and don't really care for it in food, so when I read the website on Magnesium oil and saw the pictures of people soaking in big tubs, I thought, why not do that with kelp? I took 2 oz of kelp/kombu and 2 oz of Alaria/wakame and put them in a big soup pot. Added 6 quarts of RO water, brought it to a boil, turned it down to low and simmered for 15 minutes. I added the contents of the pot to the bath water. I used soft water in the tub. Ran it through my shower filter to dechlorinate. I got in and grabbed some kelp and started using it like a washcloth. After awhile, the pieces split and the inside was like aloe vera. I rubbed the gel all over me, even in my hair. I stayed in for about 30 minutes, then strained the seaweed out and rinsed off in the seagreen water. I didn't use any soaps or shampoos. My hair looks great, my skin is soft and I feel good all over. Nutrition facts. 2 oz of kelp / 2 oz Alaria Vitamin A 8% / 160% Calcium 56% / 72% Iron 200% / 88% Riboflavin 96% / 112% Niacin 16% / 40% B 6 320% / 232% B 12 72% / 144% Magnesium 168% / 168% Phosphorous 24% / 32% Iodine 16,000% / 6000% Fluoride 88% / 96% Chromium 112% / 96% Zinc 16% / 16% Sodium 101% / 96% Potassium 176% / 120% Next day, I noticed that the redness and irritation I had from diarrhea was gone. The itch on the back of my scalp was also gone. These have been bugging me for over a month. Ray had gotten a rash on his back and it healed that up too. Kathy, who firmly believes that table salt is a slow death. Harsh bleaching, refining, silicated, dextrosed, iodized with what kind of iodine? There is iodine in Real Salt and in Sea Salt. Along with many other trace minerals.
Guest guest
I have been taking 4 drops of Lugol's Iodine daily for almost a year as a supplement. No real health problems. Guest guest
Sharon, try the PS. It worked great for my family because of the adrenal issue. You start with double the normal dose (2-2x?day) and once you get regulated you lower to a maintenance dose. -- [ ] Re:Cysts Well with my health history of adrenal insufficieny this definately could be a problem for me. I have been taking less and less of the table salt because it has iodine in it and using sea salt. I will try some table salt tonight. I take salt when I start to become adrenal insufficient. People with adrenal problems don't absorb salt that well. Thanks for the reminder. Guest guest
The problem is that the table salt has been processed and is very bad for you. Use some iodine supplement like Lugol's or others. Cheers, Doug [ ] Re:Cysts Well with my health history of adrenal insufficieny this definately could be a problem for me. Guest guest
Sorry Sharon. Phophatidyl serine. It's a brain neuro-transmitter that helps to normalize your cortisol levels. You can find it in your local health food store or vitamin shoppe. It was worked really well for me and my family with the insomnia given you know you have adrenal insufficiency. You need to take double the dose recommended on the bottle. 2-2x/day till you get relief. Than you can go down to a maintenance dose of 1 2x/day. -- [ ] Re:Cysts my brain doesn't work so well anymore can you tell me what PS is? Thanks Sharon "Sharon, try the PS. Guest guest
I can't find anywhere on the bottle or the website where it tells the percent. Cheers, Doug http://wwww.risingsunhealth.com/lugols.htm [ ] Re:Cysts Doug, What percentage Lugols are you taking - 2% or 5%? Also, did you have any thyroid issues prior to dosing? Guest guest
Hi Ballady- Standard Lugol’s is the 5% solution. The weaker one isn’t standard Lugol’s. The standard for Lugol’s is 2 drops = 12.5 mg iodine – same as one tablet of Iodoral. Dana From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of ballady4 Okay, no problem. Mine is 5% and they also make it in 2%. Just wondering what percentage the 4 drops a day is based on.
Guest guest
People experiencing problems with cysts may find interesting information in Mark Sircus's book " Transdermal Magnesium Therapy " . Less than desirable/necessary magnesium influences calcium in the body. It is a complex matter and most people may find the book helpful. Begin with a look at http://www.puremagoil.com/magnesiumtherapy.htm Phil
Guest guest
Hi Avril- The gov is regulating iodine now and anything over 2% is what they’re looking at. I can still buy Lugol’s locally, but I don’t know for how much longer (I have plenty so not concerned). They’re probably thinking that at some point they will not be able to sell the 5% so have made a weaker product. (My guess anyway). Dana From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of ballady4 http://www.jcrowsmarketplace.com/ This is where I bought mine (per Jnanda). They sell both 2% and 5% Lugols. Since they don't differentiate one as being " standard " I was confused, although the 2% doesn't have a label so maybe that is telling. No matter, I'm taking the 5% so will proceed with 2 drops for now since I also take Armour.
Guest guest
From what I have heard they are allowed to sell the 5% only in the smaller bottles, not in the 16oz size. -- RE: [ ] Re:Cysts Hi Avril- The gov is regulating iodine now and anything over 2% is what they’re looking at. Guest guest
I’m not really sure what the regulation is. My local compounding pharmacy sells quarts. There’s a naturopath in town who uses and recommends Lugol’s, so that may be why. Perhaps the “regulations” aren’t official yet. Guest guest
Is Lugol's a brand or type? I googled it but it came up under different brands. The types sold by pet stores were the cheapest but maybe they are different? Kayte --- Dana Black <danablack@...> wrote: > I'm not really sure what the regulation is. Guest guest
Lugol’s is a type. It is a 5% iodine solution with the iodine being part iodide and part iodine. Actually, I guess some have come out with a 2% solution and call it Lugol’s, but 5% was the old standard for Lugol’s. The gov is starting to regulate iodine, and at some point we may only be able to get 2%. Dana From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Kayte Is Lugol's a brand or type?
