Guest guest
I grind my flax in a Braun coffee grinder, I grind and shake while it's grinding and stop when the stuff sticks to the walls. About 8-10 seconds maybe. 1/3 cup at a time. One website suggested using a coffee grinder that lets the ground stuff out as it grinds it. I have a grain mill that I used to grind my seeds in, but they have so much oil, that it was bogging the grinder's motor. Without grinding, they get stuck in your teeth and most don't get chewed up, as they are so slippery and small. Ground, they will keep for 3 months in the refrigerator, or 6 months in the freezer. Keep them in an airtight ziplock bag and squeeze out all the air you can before storing them. Kathy
