Guest guest
I don't know about prescription meds, but I have taken neem for years at night before bed. I noticed that when I took the MMS at night the neem did not work. The neem has always worked to keep my head form itching and hair falling out. When it works I feel die-off right away (actually helps me to sleep better) . But with the MMS I haven't had the die-off and my head is suffering now! So, yes I definitely thinks it interferes with not just medications but supplements as well. I would time it away from all supplements and meds. -- [ ] MMS with medications Hi All! Does anyone know about taking MMS with meds? Humble says that it can decrease a medication's effectiveness. He suggests MMS at bedtime but I take my meds then. I'm a little fearful it's going to decrease the effectiveness of my antidepressant if I take it then (which would not be good news since MMS is already apparently giving me a few neurological symptoms) and so I'm considering taking my two doses during the day instead, in the afternoon, three hours apart. What do you all think? Also, I asked this question before, but would like to get some more responses. Did anyone experience a period of long herxing in the beginning before they noticed any improvement, or did you notice improvements right away? I've been on this a week and so far just feeling a bit crummier...maybe it's because I'm also trying to finish a book and am working long hours too. Not sure! Thanks, Connie www.lymebytes.blogspot.com
Guest guest
Hi Connie I would try to slowly get of the so called " antidepressents " if you can. A very toxic short term approach which will create more problems later. I have seen 3 people I knew well loose their lives the past few years after taking them. Last one his father found him dead in his house after a week, He shot himself. The one before that, drove into a funeral home parking lot and blew his head off with a shot gun. They were both males, In their mid 30s. Sides....., All drugs are synthitic toxic versions of what mother nature (GOD) has already put here for us. My x used to take them, That's why she's my x. I know, I know, Some people swear by them......, But I guarntee you there is better and MUCH safer things to put in your body. As toxic as these meds are, I am sure MMS will reconize them as the toxins they are, And render them less effective. So I would put several hours between the two. Guest guest
Connie, I was getting heart palps taking MMS at night so, per 's suggestion, I started taking it in the AM, which has worked much better for me. I'm find this really is so individual and needs to be adjusted to one's particular needs. Just my opinion, but I don't think there is any way to literalize the MMS procedure because there really is nothing " cast in stone " about it. Again, IMHO. All the best, Ballady > > Hi All! > > Does anyone know about taking MMS with meds? Humble says that it can > decrease a medication's effectiveness. Guest guest
Medusa, I tried it once and only seemed to aggravate it. Can you tell me the formula you used (i.e. How many drops and at what dilution). Also how long before you rinse it off? Thanks in advance, -- Re: [ ] MMS with medications Trytry Try doing the topical head rinse with MMS..it worked for my head itching. medusa doing the topical head rinse with MMS..it helped stop some of my fungal itching I had. usding the topic Re: [ ] MMS with medications I don't know about prescription meds, but I have taken neem for years at night before bed. Guest guest
I take 100 mg of trazadone each night for insomnia. For years, I refused to take a drug, trying everything I could, but finally had to do something to end the misery. Trazadone is the mildest sedative, and has an anti-depressant effect, although its not neccesarily an anti-dep. The first time I took the mms and trazadone, I woke up with kidney pain, so yes, I assume there is a problem with meds taken at the same time. I now make sure they are an hour apart, and now no problems. BTW, I don't advocate taking drugs as a first choice; I just had to have some relief, so I can work and function. The usual things seem to work for awhile, and then quit, and even rotating them loses effect for me.
