Well, my Vit D was all the way down to 7 (with 15 being low normal) and it is

now 35. How?

Daily unprotected sunshine for about 45 minutes and, this time of year, sun when

I can (or

even a UVB tanning bed will do) and Vit D supplementation.

When dealing with cancer already, perhaps a tanning bed is

not the most beneficial way to get the Vit D you want.

The URL has references from google search to warning on tanning

beds.

I don't think that is true. I use an over the counter vit. D-drops. I started using them when I realized I would get depressed in the winter. They relieved the depression therefore, I am assuming they worked just fine. Don't you think the pharmaceutical companies are just trying to make you get it from them?

Here he says you cannot even buy the type of Vit D you need over the counter.

It has to be prescribed and is $10 a pill.

Unreal.

I find something I am sure could help me but am told I cannot have any.

- Deb..For depression, you might want to look into 5HTPhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5-HTPhttp://www.vanderbilt.edu/AnS/psychology/health_psychology/5htp_myth.htmsusan <ssiegel5@...> wrote: I don't think that is true. Here is a good

source of Vitamin D3 and supplements work.

Purchase

Vitamin D3 from

Lifespan

Nutrition in California

has the best choices I found and fair prices. They ship USPS to Canada.

http://www.lifespannutrition.com/products.asp

Liquid

Vitamin D3 1000 IU per drop

http://www.seekinghealth.com/pa_385_493/Liqui_D3.html

My

holistic MD in Canada

told me to keep my levels at a very high normal. In Canada between 80 – 100 ng/ml.

This is based on research done in Toronto,

Canada. I take

5000 IU per day and my level is just at 80. Dr. Rowen recommends 5000 IU per

day of Vitamin D3. If I feel a cold coming on, I take 50,000 IU a day for 3

days and I have a very light cold if any at all. This has been working for my

children and grandchildren.
