Guest guest
If your bananas and potatoes are not organic I have been advised that they have next to no potassium. You may want to purchase a low dose potassium supplement to use for a while if you think its potassium that you need. Guest guest
Avocadoes have three times as much potassium as a banana. Salmon and broccoli have similar amts. to a banana. Tomato sauce is another good source. If you choose a potassium supplement, make sure it has adequate amounts of potassium, since most contain only a fraction of that which is found in foods. Cream of tartar is a good source. Good luck, Connie www.lymebytes.blogspot.com > If your bananas and potatoes are not organic I have been advised that they have next to no > potassium. Guest guest
All fresh green leafy raw or cooked vegetables are loaded with potassium So are coffee, tea and mushrooms. about 3700 mg per 100 calories. Coconut water from inside the coconut. Zucchini, tomatoes, cauliflower, asparagus, broccoli, pumpkin, radishes, cucumbers, blackstrap molasses, cabbage, seaweed, peppers, okra, all these have over 1000 mg of potassium per 100 calories. Avocados have more potassium by weight, bananas have more per calorie, both come in around 430 mg per 100 calories, depending on the variety of avocado, could be lower. Kathy, searching the USDA food nutrient database.
