Guest guest
Does anyone have any experience of using MMS as a disinfectant for washing foods, spraying environments, etc.? If so, any suggested answers to: Would the optimal dilution be the same for a mixture to be used for washing as for spraying? Would food (or anything else) sprayed/washed with it retain any chlorine odor, and for how long? (I realize I could determine this myself fairly easily) How long would it be usable from the time of activation? Are there circumstances under which an unactivated solution would be preferable , e.g. toilets or other acidic environments for longterm delayed release
Guest guest
If you make a 16 oz bottle of MMS, doesn't it build up pressure? Doesn't the formula just turn into salt and water after a few hours? You can also use an empty peroxide bottle as it is dark and the spray attachments from other bottles fit perfectly - I just this for other formulas that need to be in a dark bottle. > > I have used straight MMS on mold and it has killed it. > > I read this.... > > But now... that very same 16oz bottle of deodorizer, > and I use it ALOT!, and for ALOT too... will also last > me about a year. > My original directions say to use 1/4 " cap-full " to a > 16oz spray bottle of water (and just make sure that it > is not a clear bottle so that light cannot get in... > and sooo, like I'll use just an old Fantastic or 409 > sorta spray bottle)... but... Guest guest
Yes, has anyone tried this with our MMS? Would it be activated with acid or just added to water? How long would it last after being mixed? Guest guest
How would you stabilize it, Dan? That is the ultimate secret! Jim said it's good in the glass for about 2 hours. I'm sure that includes a half life. Like in one hour, it's only half as good as it was right away..... Kathy
Guest guest
Hi Dan, I tried it, externally, just the one drop, activated with lemon juice. About 3 weeks ago.. On a nasty looking spot which tends to return every 18 months, 2 years. Haven't got a pic as I couldn't get a picture of it (on left leg high up towards the back). Anyhow... it's healing up now but by golly, did it burn the skin. Only used a band aid with enough liquid on it to wet that tiny spot 5mm by 5 mm. As the skin is healing, the nasty looking spot is gone. Don't know if it was a skin cancer or not. It's gone. Will keep an eye on it, see if it returns in another 18 months. If it happens again will find a volunteer to take a pic. Hanneke At 08:06 AM 10/01/2008, you wrote: Yes, has anyone tried this with our MMS? Would it be activated with acid or just added to water? Guest guest
Well that's the issue. Would it last very long? The unactivated MMS in water should last at least 24 hours. I put a drop of MMS into my citric acid bottle mix to sterilize it and could smell the chlorine smell for several weeks when using it...
