Have you been tested for lyme disease? Because I think lyme is the most common pathogen involved in arthritis.

i am presently taking zithromax - an antibiotic 500 mg MR to treat RA. i

went into remission on 200 mg minocin - another antibiotic back in 00.

so i believe bacteria definitely had something to do with RA. i had to

stop the mino as i developed a sensitivity to it. thus am trying the

zith. am improving thus far. it is contraindicated to take MMS with

antibiotics?

No it would not be the same antbx. It depends what coinfections you may or may not have. You would need to find a Lyme Literate MD (LLMD) in order to get a decent test. You can go to LDA (Lyme Disease Association) website. There is a link to find a physician. You register with them and are allowed 3 searches per month for different types of doctors. That is a good place to start. But I would definitely look into it as RA is associated with lyme.

no i haven't. what testing do you recommend sue? how does testing for

lyme help them to know what to give me? wouldn't it be the same antibiotics?
