Guest guest
I either had this or something like this done on my back at the Chiropractor's office last week along with an ice pack on top of it. It's pretty neat. Although I don't think it was toning the muscles so maybe it was something totally different. le " carolyn kim " <young_a_-@...> wrote: original article:tae-bo_on/?start=12764 > I should of known, lol. Guest guest
Can any one recommend a good EMS machine ? There is a site in the uk http://www.bodyclock.co.uk that sells tone/ TENS unit but i don't know how effective this is and whether it's worth the price . If any one has tried this unit or has recommendations they'd be willing to share I'd be more than grateful . [Purchase of an EMS unit depends on exactly what you want to use it for. Anyway, using most of the machines, you will probably end up being quite disappointed if you hope to make large strength and hypertrophy gains. Their value depends a lot on their degree of variability and how they are integrated into an overall training programme. The units being sold by that company are far too basic for serious training - some of the standard physio EMS devices are far better for most applications which might interest you. Guest guest
Although discussion of the degree to which MMS destroys beneficial bacteria as well as pathogens doesn't seem to have gone beyond the idea that that MMS only kills anaerobic bacteria and all anaerobic are Bad Guys, it seems to make sense to consider supplementing useful bacteria after one has undergone a bout of MMS. The whole topic of probiotics is new to me, and I'm wondering whether EM products such as http://www.scdworld.net/product_p/a112-1.htm are what one should be looking at. Also, when one goes to the Maintenance Dose level, what would be happening if one were alternating MMS and EMs or other probiotics.?
Guest guest
I feel taking probiotics are essential anyway. If you find a brand you like just take it regularly. If you don't have a yeast/fungal issue any good probiotic is fine. For yeast issues you need more heavy duty probiotics. Jim Humble recommends Paradophilus. It is quite expensive though, so if if you have no issues with yeast I would go for the health food store brands. Pb8 is a good cheap one that many use. -- [ ] EMs Although discussion of the degree to which MMS destroys beneficial bacteria as well as pathogens doesn't seem to have gone beyond the idea that that MMS only kills anaerobic bacteria and all anaerobic are Bad Guys, it seems to make sense to consider supplementing useful bacteria after one has undergone a bout of MMS.The whole topic of probiotics is new to me, and I'm wondering whether EM products such as http://www.scdworld.net/product_p/a112-1.htm are what one should be looking at.Also, when one goes to the Maintenance Dose level, what would be happening if one were alternating MMS and EMs or other probiotics.?
