Guest guest
Hi, Yes, on my breasts, red, raised -- super intense itching and very embarrassing at times. I also had other localized rashes -- one over my right kidney, one on the right side of my abdomen about naval height, and one over my lumbar spine. All very itchy and distracting to the point that that was all I could think of -- itching!!! Benadryl was the only thing that helped me. I took a lot of C, did FIR sauna, coffee enemas, but they did not stop the itching. They are all gone now. Blessings, Bonnie [ ] MMS rashes My friend has started taking MMS. She started out with 1 drop and went up by 1 drop a day till she hit 6 drops. At that point she broke out in a very itchy rash. She says that she never felt nausea nor had any diarrhea, but that she does tend to detox through the skin--so this wasn't terribly unsurprising to her. Except that the rash has continued to get worse. She quit taking the MMS on Monday and went into a sauna to help try and detox more, and also took an Epsom salt bath which REALLY broke her out all over her abdomen, and felt like she was on fire. She finally had to take some Benedryl so she could sleep that night, and because her chest was starting to feel tight. Once before she had gone into anaphylactic shock (not being able to breath) because she was exposed to a petroleum based pesticide, so she was afraid of that happening again. But the Benedryl did the trick as far as relieving some of the fire and breathing problems. She is taking C now to try and clear up the rash. Anyone have any reaction to MMS this severe on the skin? I told her that many people have had rashes, pimples, etc--but I don't recall anyone saying theirs was this bad. Samala, Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search. Guest guest
Thanks Bonnie. Did you continue to take the MMS, even through the rash, or wait till the rash stopped and then started back on the MMS again--or just gave up on the MMS. Guest guest
Two questions: what activator and what is she treating? Might be she has a yeast infection trying to come out. Ray gets a rash like that, he believes it's from too much chlorine in the pool we swim in. He also got one a few years ago also not from MMS, he detoxes through his skin as well. That one he believed might have been from too much oatmeal. Wish I could help more. Kathy
Guest guest
I know it's hard, but for us rashers, we just rash, AND a sauna makes it even more extreme. At least that has been my experience. I once decided to really detox and took an ozone sauna after I had taken around 10 drops of MMS. I had an explosive rash and it just kept popping out kind of like chicken pox. The rash was always what determined if and how much MMS I took. I also discovered I could do both ozone and MMS. It was just too much for my body. I personally think the rashing is an indication our normal detox pathways are not working properly and so the toxins have to exit through the skin. It's always what has happened to me, and I, too, never got up to the point of throwing up or diarrhea even tho I did work up to 15 drops. I had so many horror stories with ozone rashes that I always caution everybody to go slow or don't go at all. I believe it can get really serious and have wondered if one can go into toxic shock from detoxing too much. Lot of vitamin C will help not only to stop the rashing, but helps with the itchy as it works as an antihistimine, plus heals the skin from the erruptions. Gail > > My friend has started taking MMS. Guest guest
I feel that the body is made to do an immediate detox through vomiting and diarrhea, as that seems to be the most natural way. The skin should be the last resort. So perhaps the liver is compromised? Or maybe--because everyone is different--some people just detox via the skin as their natural method. But a good way to see if the body would change from skin to intestines would be to do a couple good liver detoxes. Then, if you started throwing up or diarrhea before a skin rash, it would mean that your personal response was changeable and only due to non-correctly functioning liver. But if it didn't change--then it could just be that, for certain individuals, the skin is the main pathway. Dunno. Only personal testing would tell. Guest guest
Hi, : No, I did not stop. I continue to take it. I did modify my dosing from two larger doses to three smaller ones. Right now I'm taking 7 drops 3 times a day. I was taking 10 drops 2 times a day. I feel like this is a sign that I am winning -- my coodies can't hide from this stuff, so they are trying to get out through the skin. Winner!!! This was also the opinion of my lyme doc when I mentioned it to him. I am thinking this has saved me from future breast cancer. Blessings, Bonnie Re: [ ] MMS rashes Thanks Bonnie. Hi , Dr. Chenney (sp?), and expert on cfids, said a person's liver who has cfids is like a canary in a cage. For whatever reason, it just doesn't detox like it is meant to do. I've done multipe liver cleanses and yes, they do help, but still seem to have the problem. It took my about 4 years of doing ozone saunas before I got to the point I no longer rashed, then after starting up on the MMS, the rashing started all over again. I'm thinking the MMS is doing a more thorough deep cleansing that the ozone didn't reach. When combinding the two together, it's pretty powerful. Too much for me actually. Saul, on Oxyplus, has always stated (don't know if he's correct, but I suppose it's as good a reason as any) that the rashing from ozone is a result of the toxins exiting when other detoxing pathyways are compromised. He, as well as his wife, claim the rash is always toxins. I don't know if I believe it or not, but I do know I rash. Gail
Guest guest
Hi Gail. I would believe that a rash is always toxin related. The skin is the largest detoxing organ, but second in line to the liver. When the liver is working it does the job. When the liver is compromised the skin can help. When you did the liver cleanses did you also continue to support the liver with herbs and foods afterwards? The liver can regenerate itself, and milk thistle, especially, but other herbs too, can help that regeneration of new cells. I would never go a day without taking some sort of liver support herb or food if my liver was compromised. By switching from various herbs and foods the liver should get the strongest benefit to regeneration. And a regular liver cleanse--something gentle, not hard or forceful, many times a year. There are many herbalists that suggest doing full organ cleanses 4 times a year--with each change of the seasons. I've had milk thistle on my mind and just never got around to using it. I did multiple liver cleanses. 5-6, 1 every 2 weaks until no more stones, then 2 a year, once in the spring and fall except this year. I'm just so tired of those liver cleanse. Maybe the milk thistle will greatly help. Thanks, gail
Guest guest
They say the very best way, to get the most healthful benefits from milk thistle, is to just buy the seeds and grind them daily. This releases more of the chemical needed for liver rejuvenation than taking milk thistle capsules or even tincture. Seeds are cheap. You can get a small coffee grinder to grind up a days worth, or even just put the seeds in a pepper mill and grind over your salads, potatoes, etc daily. Guest guest
Milk thistle seeds? I think that's what we were talking about. Yes, you can. It is MUCH cheaper to buy in bulk from some herb web site, like www.mountainroseherbs.com buy a pound there--will be organic. You can get a bit from the health food store to start out while you are waiting to order on line. There are a few other good herb web shops, but can't think of any other names right now. I'm sure someone else can recommend their favorite web herb shop. Samala, -------Original Message------- Can you just buy these at a whole foods or health food store?
