Guest guest
Hi All, I wanted to give you an update regarding my doctor who recommended MMS. I told her that I had been taking it for awhile but I stopped after I heard a webcast with another MD where he said that it can stop working after awhile for fungi because they can develop a resistance. She said it made sense and advised me to take it maybe once a month and also like I would use antibiotics. I don't plan on ever taking antibiotics again and as soon as I feel something coming on I plan on taking the MMS. It doesn't work to get rid of the toxins for that you need toxin binding supplements. I hope this helps some of you. Sharon
Guest guest
Well, Congratulations Sharon. Your MD must have considerable respect for your decision making processes. At least she did not attempt make or not make the MMS decision for you. You were not quite clear though on the use of antibiotics. Guest guest
I thought one of the benis of MMS was that it does oxidize toxins - and even die off? I think it must or I wouldnt be moving as quickly with it as I am - i have lyme and we are slowed down by killing bugs b/c of die off....so I think its oxidizing some of the toxins although not all. Guest guest
Congratulations Sharon, sounds like you have a good doctor. I think what you're saying about using it as an antibiotic is to take it only when you feel you need it. I think that is what I'm going to do too. As soon as the virus is gone, I'm going to a maintenance dose for 6 months, until I'm sure it's really gone, then I'm done. Then I'll keep it on hand for emergencies. Also, it doesn't eliminate toxins, it just kills them. It destroys the cells and it's up to the body to get the wastes out. If the body has a hard time getting them out, as in the case of lyme disease, then the person needs to take toxin binding supplements, I think that is what I'm hearing. My body gets those buggers out no matter what, and if there are too many all at once, I get feeling really really sick. As soon as I eliminate them, I start to feel better. But going through diarrhea and vomiting is hard on the body. Important minerals are lost that have to be replaced. Dehydration and cramping can follow herxing. So tonight I will stick with 15 drops at 11 pm, 10 at 2 am, and 10 early in the morning. That worked pretty well for me last night. I'm feeling great today. The thing to remember when I have a reaction, is to take the ANTIDOTE! Jill, hope you're reading this. 1 tsp of baking soda in a glass of water stops the cramping and stops the diarrhea, perhaps not entirely, but definitely slows it down! If taken at the first sign of cramping, the dose is stopped right there. The other antidote is 1000 mg of vitamin C powder in a glass of water. I have packets of EmergenC for that. But I prefer the baking soda. It's quite soothing on the acid. Buddy, if you read the book, you would know that Humble discovered this in 1996 or 1997, forget which one. He studied it for 10 years, had people take it and he watched them and they monitored them. In the interviews with Jim Humble, that you can listen to on the web, the links are out there, google MMS and a great one comes up, anyways, he talks about his trials and discoveries and how people have taken too much and been sick for several days, and when they got better, they no longer had the disease they wanted to destroy. So a sick person has to take less and work their way up to 15 drops twice a day for 2 weeks, which is the protocol Jim Humble recommends for getting rid of most pathogens. He says some will need a longer stronger protocol, such as Hepatitis. A healthy person with few or no pathogens will take the 15 drops and nothing will happen. A sick person taking the 15 drops first dose will probably get nausea and diarrhea. Some people can't take even 1 drop, they are so sick. So they fix up a drop, add the water and throw half of it down the sink and drink the rest. This is all in the books and audio interviews, I'm rambling. Sweet dreams! Guest guest
Meridith, Some people like me have a genetic inability to filter certain toxins. It's a marker on the HLA-DR. For people like me the toxins just recirculate so I don't think it is true that MMS oxidizes toxins at least not for me. I remember reading MMS oxidizes metal. Did you know that there are two markers on the HLA-DR for Lyme disease? Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones and don't have one of these markers. According to Shoemaker 24% have markers on the HLA-DR for mold. Sharon > > > > Hi All, > > > > I wanted to give you an update regarding my doctor who recommended > > MMS. Guest guest
Hi sharon, have you read Jim H. books? Please dont take offense, but in JH books he say not to stop taking MMS once you start untill the illness has gone. Also he gives convincing argument as to its abillity to make toxins inert. I personally have had excellant results using MMS for both of these situations. I have heard some make the comment that MMS does not detoxify, yet I have been taking supplements and detox products for years and have never gotten such good results as I have gotten with MMS. > > Hi All, > > I wanted to give you an update regarding my doctor who recommended > MMS. Guest guest
I'm a little confused as to what I should do. Also I believe my problem has to do a lot with my adrenal glands getting the right message from my hypothalamus. In other words for me I believe my hypothalamus has been infiltrated by toxins or mycotoxins from the mold. I can relate to the MMS oxidizing metal as I have seen what bleach can do to metal. I understand the pathogen kill concept but I don't understand how it works for toxins. Thanks for your concern Marie. I really believe in this product.
