Guest guest
So taking supplements WITH MMS is a no, no?? We take our supplements dialy as a preventative and also as alternative meds. I did just start MMS yesterday (only 1/2 drop) I'm such a chicken (lol) I was fine after drinking that. Do you think my supplements will interfere? > > Interesting! > I have heard that taking time off from > supplements is a good thing. > > Kathy >
Guest guest
My thoughts on this are that too many supplements can actually weaken our system and give it the message that we think it cannot function without constant support. I take one day off a week from all supplements and then occasionally stop altogether for awhile to see how my body is functioning and determine whether it actually needs everything I was previously taking. To me, the idea is to tweak the system into being able to take over on its own, rather than making it dependent on potions. Guest guest
Yep. Good way of putting this. Guest guest
You may find that taking supplements is okay for you. Hcv is a disease, in part, of toxicity (my theory) so as I mentioned before- lets say you take supplements -mine were/are cod liver oil, n-acetyl cisteine, cordyceps, tumeric, E, alpha lipoic, etc- all these are said to have a positive effect, however, as a mix, or even just one that might be contaminated during manufacturing (even slightly) or over-concentrated, and in my case it doesn't take much to tip the balance; (your mileage may vary) or, the mms may oxidize these, (or the contaminates, if any), and cause a chemical soup. What I'm suggesting is that we might be able to get by without supplements; maybe even better off. If this mms "erases" all the nasties, then our health status should return to the state we were in years ago before we started taking, or feeling the need to take something. We can get bio-availible vitamins from food, C from whole fruit, Bs from nutritional yeast, (not related to candida,) A from fish oil, E and selenium from nuts. Minerals from molasses and seaweed, enymes and calcium from juicing, protein from eggs and whey, glutathione from broccoli. . Guest guest
It's fine to continue with your supplements--just not at the same time. Separate your supplements and MMS by a few hours. And remember, if your supplements have C in them, or you are taking C, the C will stop the MMS from working if taken too close together. In my opinion, the best way to take C while on MMS is to take the C first, wait at least 2 hours, then the MMS. That way you get full benefit of C (it usually is out of your system in a few hours) and full benefit of MMS, which is in the system for 12 hours. If you take MMS first, then wait a few hours and take C, the C will stop whatever MMS is left in your body. Samala, -------Original Message------- So taking supplements WITH MMS is a no, no?? Guest guest
Edgar Cayce recommended taking vitamin supplements one week and refraining from taking them the next week. Alternating them, one week on, one week off... Guest guest
I've worked with supplements for a long time, and I think that it would probably be good to take a day off per week. It lets the body reset. Sometimes, maybe longer. However, after 90 days, most of the benefits from the supplements have probably been lost because of new cell formation. jp Interesting! I have heard that taking time off from supplements is a good thing. Kathy
Guest guest
I remember reading in B.R.s book that if you are doing (and have been doing) an unending supplemental protocol with no good results, it should be a clue that they are not doing the job. since reading that I have taken a good look at my supplements and gotten rid of the ones that were just money waisters. I did not feel a differance one way or the other when I stoped and it has been months. > > Interesting! > I have heard that taking time off from > supplements is a good thing. > > Kathy >
Guest guest
I dont think that that is what any of us mean. Just keep an eye on what your taking and make sure that it really gives you a benifit. the supplements (or medication)that you do take, take 3 to 4 hours away from MMS otherwise the MMS will oxidize them. > > > > Interesting! > > I have heard that taking time off from > > supplements is a good thing. > > > > Kathy > > >

I don't think it would hurt if I took a mineral break once in a while.
