Guest guest
Hi All, In my previous post, I talked about anxiety after taking MMS. Some of the anxiety was part of herxing, but some of it was warranted, I think. Since I experienced a feeling of being " electrified " , I wondered about the release of heavy metals from Lyme die-off. Jim Humble talks about MMS neutralizing or detoxing heavy metals. I can't find my part II of his book at the moment, so I can't remember his exact words. It seemed to me, that he was saying that you don't need to worry about detoxing heavy metals since MMS already does it. However, in looking at Dr. Hesselink's site, he says that MMS turns iron from a ferrous form to a ferric form. Please pardon my verbage, chemistry is not my forte. Oxidizing iron is not necessarily a good thing. Those who have hemachromatosis sometimes have a bronze color to their skin because the excess iron in their bodies has " rusted " . It's the possibility of excess iron rusting or oxidizing in those who have Iron Overload that makes them prone to cancer, etc. So I'm wondering what happens if other metals in the body are oxidized by MMS? Please feel free to correct me if my concerns are wrong. I'd like to allay some of my worries about the oxidizing of heavy metals by MMS. Thanks, Avril
