Guest guest
Kathy, I think this is really good advice for anyone starting out on MMS. I do take the probiotics and the Real Salt (I came here from the salt/c group, lymestrategies) but where do you get " EmergenC " from? Is it a drink or a tablet? Is it available from most health food stores? I am thinking I should get some to keep on hand... Thanks, BB --- In , " Kat " <makiah@...> wrote: > > I know it takes a lot of courage and determination to do this protocol, > as an overdose can seriously mess up electrolytes. > > What I've found that helps when I overdose. > > EmergenC - a blend of C, minerals, electrolytes. > > PB-8 or other probiotic - restores intestinal flora > > Real Salt - in water or tea - restores minerals > > Dry Toast - well toasted, almost dry - helps to settle stomach > > Green tea with alfalfa and peppermint, sweetened with organic maple > syrup and adding a little Real Salt. Guest guest
Kool-Aid? What flavor tastes like Kool-Aid? We have our favorite: Tangerine. Super Orange is pretty good, tastes more like Tang. I tried others and Tangerine is the best, AFAIC We also get the joint support formula. Guest guest
You're right about the raspberry, it is rather bland. I've found that with the tangerine, I add 6-8 oz of water and drink it right after it stops fizzing. I also tried the Acai Berry, yuck! But my husband and son liked it fine. Guest guest
Why not just drink Emergen-C with orange juice? None of them taste bad at all, what do you want? -- In , " " <gaiacita@...> wrote: > > I find the tangerine more tolerable if I use warm water to make it!! Guest guest
I think the joint compound is as good as any other. I " m not having any joint problems right now, other than my right thumb, and it's healing quite quickly. It started hurting after shoveling snow and doing a little mending. I also like to add the packet to a cup of tea, but do it slowly, as it fizzes up the glass quite quickly. Kathy
Guest guest
Have you tried the new flavor, ACAI? I'm sorry, but I truly cannot stomach it. But my hubby and son thought it was great. It reminds me of liquid penicillin. I think it's the black currant juice in it. Kathy
