That's a great idea Dr. Dan...Let's start with you, and I'll ask for the 4th

time now: WHO ARE YOU?, What are you selling, besides cynicism and despair.

What kind of Dr. are you.

I propose that if you don't answer, that all of us just ignore you so that we

can just share the good ideas that we get from the world which may or may not

include certain products that I do or do not endorse. Your contributions so

far have been meaningless....So again, let's start with you (or do you not

play by your own rules!)

By the way Dr. Dan, believe it or not, some of us who are on this list that

do have something of VALUE to offer, have an issue with and have been

impacted by Cancer personally or in their familys, have you??

Good idea, let's introduce ourselves to each other.

I'll do a write up about all that I do soon.

So, Dr. Dan, what do you do? What do you sell?

Be blessed and be well,

Hello Dr. Dan,

If you tell us what kind of doctor you are we may be able to think ahead

enough to ask you intelligent questions in the field of your expertise

instead of going to the yellow pages to a complete stranger. At your

service, Joe Peppe,N.D.

P.S. I like the St. Louis Rams no stress offense. I like all the no stress

products too.

Greetings, a--

Yes, I agree. Those of us on the list for months recognize the names of

those who are selling a product, and read the posting or delete it as we

chose. However, for a new member to the list, it can be very confusing, with

this one saying " you must have this, " and another one saying, " what you

really need is this " . Useful information can be gained from the seller's

postings, however, one should be aware from the beginning that they have a

vested interest in promoting a particular product.

Perhaps anyone making a post concerning any product that they have a

financial interest in, should have to say " ADVERTISEMENT " in the subject

line. What do you think?

Hello

I want to introduce my self. I also want to know whom I´m talking to and if

this is a market place. Sorry about my english and my expressions.

I´m from México, actually I live in Mexico. My mother has pancreatic cancer

and the tumour was resected 3 months ago. She is well. I´m a writer, a

novelist and formally work for a press company. I sell nothing and it is

difficult for me to recognize a seller. Specially through a site. I believe

in this place there is too many discussions about a product and it is

difficult to find people´s concerns and alternatives. I propouse to have

links for the products people sells would be nicer for everybody. Don´t you

think so?

Sorry if I express my self so sincerelly, but neither my mom nor me have

time to go any other way but streight. I can understand the people who sells

some products, like Debbie, who sells immunocal but I believe it would be

wonderfull for everyone to safe time not to be reading about a product all

the time or at least to know wether this is a " product advertisment " , to

name it some how.

I don´t want to boder any one nor to heart anybodies feelings so please

excuseme if I do. My name is a and I´m here to get support and to

help people with cancer, any way I can. That´s all.

Dr. wrote several books and has a clinic in Mexico.

Hoxsey Clinic is also in Mexico, but I do not know how effective they are

since they no longer have the competent leadership of the nurse who

started it.

Hope this helps.

Hi Rosy,

I agree. You have come up with a sensible solution. This way any information

will

still be available, but all the cards will be on the table. If people do not

comply, anyone could reply to the message and add " advertisement " in the subject

header when it gets reposted.

Great idea you two!

The newslist would benefit from this immensely.

It would take some guts to repost someone's message as an advertisement.

I have antagonized several MLMers on the list, understandably so.

One rule I try to observe to eliminate the effects of negative feedback:

" Don't take it personal "

Having at least you two and a few others actively engaged in cleaning up the

messages encourages me not to drop the banner.

There is a major ethical problem out there, not confined to MLM companies.

Tainted research. Research that does not tell the whole truth, that on some

significant level is tainted to come up with a solution favorable to the

manufacturer.

The LA Times recently exposed the New England Journal of Medicine for NOT

complying with its own policy of stating when an author or researcher had a

financial interest in the product being researched. Even the NEJM receives

mega-bucks from drug companies, and even they are tainted.

I know one thing for sure. Good health never has, and never will be found in

a bottle.

In thinking about this this past week, I came up with 5 powerful Cs that

combined, will stand up pretty strong against Cancer.

Clarity: How we created the cancer and are responsible for it and our health.

Challenge: Accept the challenge, even welcome it; because we must

Change: our thoughts, our diet, our exercise, our environment, our

relationships.

Communicate: how we all want to give and receive love, and

Create: a life with joy and meaning.

What do you think?

I like the proposal. Perhaps these people could, instead of just posting, do

a write up and submit it to the list owner to put the info up as time

permits. Sometimes I keep reading the same info over and over and over.

I also have another proposal. Perhaps some of the e-mails that are " more

personal " and that really don't apply to the " group " could be responded to

the individual instead of to the group. When you get an e-mail, you don't

have to just click reply - you can click on that person's e-mail address and

respond just to them and not to the group. I get over 300 messages a day

from different groups and it would be nice not to have to wade through

" personal " messages.

To Melinda Wiman and list,

Yes, I think that might help to make this list far more efficient. I'm on

the verge of going off-list, because it has just become too overwhelming

(and, yes, I know about the delete key), but that brings me to yet another

proposal. I have found that accurately deleting, and/or using the digest

format of this mailing list, has become almost equally difficult, because the

replies keep flying back and forth with the SAME SUBJECT LINE, even though

the actual content of the message no longer bears any relationship to the

subject line. The thread may have started out on " Radiation, " and ten

postings later it still says " Radiation " , although the messages have actually

been about " Soy " or " New World Order " or whatever. (This is just an

example). It requires opening each message to see what it's about.

Perhaps if people wanted to bring up a NEW POINT in reference to a particular

posting, to save time, they can hit the " reply " key, but CHANGE THE SUBJECT

LINE TO REFLECT THE POINT THEY ARE MAKING.
