Guest guest
Dear List Member: Here appears MrsPBURK3723 who just recently went on-line for the sole purpose of finding information about alternative cancer treatments for her husband. It took me over 3 weeks to find this web-site (my naivete regarding the inter-net is, thus, obvious). Furthermore, my ignorance regarding " mail list network " prompted me to attempt to return to the senders all the mail that flooded my mailbox as I assumed it had been sent to me in error -- that the person waiting for a reply would not receive it as it has been erroneously sent to me. A number of kind members, Bob, Raol, Rosy, Ginny, etc, took the time to explain to this novice the workings of this web site. Because of my ignorance, I was severly slammed by a number of people and was accused of " spamming " the site. Consequently, I have recently kept a very low profile -- only occasionally asking a few non-descript questions. I have avidly followed the arguing and bickering of those of you who stongly advocate (or vice versa) strongly oppose various supplemental treatments such as Microhydrin, Immunocal, Life Extension, Essiac, Aloe, Risotriene, Cantral(sp?) Phycotene, water filters, etc. and, as a little old lady, have become hopelessly confused. I have deligently printed all of your arguments for additional review and further perusal. I am in total awe of the knowledge and research that all of you continuously present to us. I also have begun to understand that many of you are vendors for products -- and thus I take your information with tongue in cheek. (Sorry!) Here is my situation -- husband was diagnosed 2 years ago with pancratic cancer metasized to the liver. Was originally supposed to be an " organic " cancer (i.e. confined to the organs) but has now spred to the bone. Has been on chemo therapy every 3 weeks for the past two years and has outlived all potential predictions for survival. I have been giving him vitamins and supplements in accordance with Dr. Whitaker's suggestions as to what " he would do if he had cancer " . My husband puts his total trust in his internest and oncologist, but I have a problem here because when I faxed both of them information regarding Hydrazine Sulfate as a possible reversal to his " cachexia " , I received no response from either of them. My husband refused to acknowledge the existance of " alternative medicine: and has put his total faith in the chemo therapy which he is undergoing. He thinks it is working -- I do not. He has told me to quit knocking my head against a wall!. -- he will not rock the boat by " challanging " his oncologist with this " off-the-wall " alternative medicines. I am inclined to agree with him, considering the enormous amount of superflous information that I have accumulated. Right now, I am in accord with Karjala's treatment of his " Cure from Stage IV Lung Cancer. Have not yet tried Essaid tea, but subscribe wholeheatedly to Dr. Whitaker's treatement. By the way, have purchased some rasberrys. Will try that. Will the frozen kind work? Could not get any fresh.
