If I speak the truth, the =Cure for Cancer was discovered in 1979.

On December 4, =1999, Judy and Joe posted the following -

Joe - " A Mr. Guitterez =was persuaded by to eat some of this poison and he di=ed of brain cancer. is fantasizing that that was a co=incidence. justifys himself by saying Mr. Guitterez h=ad prostate cancer and was going to die anyway.

tells us we have a =personal problem with him and that's not scientific. Finally, if I read =all this correctly, says he himself deserves a Nobel =Prize for this tremendous discovery.

What's wrong with this picture? Anybody h=ave a clue?

However, the really big question is why would a person struggling to o=vercome cancer, who tried ' protocol and was worse the=n before (Jerry Rollins) and was kicked off the list when he had well ov=er 13 votes to be returned back to the group?

He needs this information also for his=own benefit since we are talking about human lives in the final analysis. =There should be compassion in the final analysis and not punishment for =whatever jokes he wrote. In fact, his 'jokes' seemed to lighten up the g=roup's marvelous effort's in combating cancer which is a life threatenin=g situation.

Judy=, in this decade even a Nobel Laureate has shown interest in a compound =which contains Thioproline. Refer to pages 1 and 2 of www.jsr1936.com and you will see w=here Professor V. Schally and his colleagues discovered that RC-3950-II yielded fabulous anti-cancer results in the labo=ratory; this compound contains 'Tac' (Thioproline).

Judy, I have been con=tinually mailing my research to Professor Schally, but I recently receiv=ed this response from his Administrative Secretary, letter dated Novembe=r 29, 1999 -

Judy, I know of four men who have thus far exp=osed themselves to 'mega-doses' of Thioproline, and thus far nobody has =complained to me of suffering any severe side effects.

=Judy, can you fathom why Federal Health Officials in the Washington, D.C=. area are having such difficulty in repeating (with modifications) an e=stablished cancer clinical trial which was reported two decades =ago in one of the world's foremost and prestigious medical jour=nals - 'The Lancet'?

For two years I have been imploring them to ta=ke action; see the picture on the last page of www.jsr1936.com; that picture was publ=ished in the newspaper on February 14, 1999; since then that stack of individual letters has grown even larger. =

The brother of Helen Gutierrez (not 'Guitterez') did not have =prostate cancer - he had esophageal cancer; by the way, his last name wa=s not Gutierrez.

=Joe, if you read my December 3 letter carefully you =will see that you have all of the facts wrong.

I called Helen, and she=would be willing to fill you in on all the details (Which I feel I have=already supplied in my December 3 posting - but Joe, you simply don't w=ant to believe me.).

In my opinion, this procedure is the cur=e for cancer; however, considering the experience of Mr. Jerry Rollins, =the procedure might take longer than 12 days; this is why a clinical tri=al is so necessary. I mention an initial dosage amount of 40 mg/kg. of T=hioproline for adults. The Lethal Dosage for Thioproline is 210 mg/kg. I=wish to suggest the impossible - with the protection afforded by vitami=n C (It even has a medical name - 'Ascorbic Acid Flush'; see page 12 of =www.jsr1936.com.=) I think 210 mg/kg. could be safely swallowed; maybe even 420 mg/kg.; m=aybe even 630 mg/kg.

PHDorgan, I am re-posting 'To Dr. Varmus, Directo=r, National Institutes of Health (NIH)' which you might not have seen; i=t was first posted on November 7, 1999.

Congressional hearings are n=ecessary because I think the medical community of this country has made =a lackluster effort to capitalize on one of the most phenomenal scientif=ic discoveries of the 20th century.

Two decades ago in Spain it =was found that when Thioproline was administered to 32 human beings -&nb=sp;

I would like to reaffirm my words - I am not =at all happy with the evidence which has been assembled against Thioprol=ine. I would be generous if I called it 'scanty'.

I would like for an =investigative committee of Congress to ask Dr. Varmus and other National=Institutes of Health officials if these 6 items pretty much includes th=e totality of the negativity which has thus far surfaced against Thiopro=line.

If this be the case, I am shocked, dumbfounded and dismayed that=the paucity of research represented by these 6 items constituted the basis=for abnegating interest in Thioproline, a compound which showed such gl=owing promise.

=I hope I am proved to be a consummate and absolute fool=; I hope the medial establishment provides evidence that it did everythi=ng under the sun to investigate the potentiality of Thioproline; in my o=pinion, this compound is the 'Miracle medicine' to cure Cancer./=DIV>

Unless=there are facts 'out there' of which I am not aware, I am forced to con=clude with a sense of amazement that the medical community of the world =has had at its disposal for the past 20 years a possible cure for cancer=but has not done anything to promote its development.

When the investigative committee of Congress mee=ts, the session might not have to take much more than an hour as far as =the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is concerned; I also have a coup=le of questions which I would like for the Director, National Aids Polic=y Office and the Surgeon General to answer.

I would like for Dr. Varmu=s, Dr. Klausner and Dr. Pluda to be asked one simple question -/=DIV>

" =Do they think it would be worthwhile to repeat the Spanish clinical tria=l in the manner I have suggested? "

If their answer is 'no', I would =appreciate it if they afforded the committee their reasoning.

In addit=ion, I would like for Dr. Varmus to address these issues -=

In 1979 it=was published that the United States National Cancer Institute (NCI) ha=d initially supported the research (contract NO1-CM-53792) upon which th=e Spanish cancer clinical trial (involving human beings) was based.

Ho=wever, after it was published in January, 1980, that Thioproline yielded=fabulous results when administered to human beings, the NCI did a follo=w up study in 1980 (grant CA-24543, contract NO1-CM-97278) in which rats=and mice were the subject of the experiment (with Thioproline). /=FONT>

The NCI did not support any further study in which human beings were in=volved in a clinical trial in which Thioproline was administered (as far=as I can determine).

At this time I would like to repeat these passages =from my 'To Dr. Varmus.....' posting -

" Dr. Varmus, I am disappoi=nted to see that the National Cancer Institute did not conduct a clinica=l trial to see what effect thioproline might have upon human beings, as =was done in Spain in 1979. "

Post Script - I would like to conclude with this passage from the 'Res=ponse to Joe Peppe' letter -

His esophagea=l cancer cleared up. Subsequent examination at three Kentucky hospitals =could find no trace of it.

He died 6 months later of brain cancer in June=, 1998.

What caused the brain cancer? I don't know. He continued to =smoke about 4 packs of cigarettes everyday; perhaps this was a contribut=ing factor.

I don't think he continued any treatment after Helen's =personal 5 day administration; perhaps this was a contributing factor./=FONT>

All I know is that he lived 6 months longer than was expected; is this =manslaughter?

Joe, what if I had exited Helen's store without telling her=about the Spanish clinical trial because I feared to spread medical kno=wledge because I did not have a 'M.D.' degree?

I would have let a stat=e of ignorance prevail, would I not have? And here is what I think of ig=norance; Socrates said it best:
