Guest guest
I had a RP for Prostate Cancer approx. five (5) years ago. My PSA has been undetectable for 4 years. My PSA has gone from 0.1 ng/ml to 1.0 ng/ml since Dec. 98. When my moved from 0.2 ng/ml, I started taking shark cartlidge, Flax seed oil, PC spes. The only thing seems to help reduce the pSA is PC Spes. In mid 1999, I started taking three capsules Of PC Spes, and my PSA hung in there around 0.6 ng/ml. I increased my dosage to ~ 6/7 capsules(reg. strngth), and my PSA dropped to0.2. My doctor at Emory Clinic(Dr. that performed my RP ) recommended I stop taking pCSpes and conduct another PSA test within 7/8 wks. In Dec. 99 my PSA went from 0.2 to 1.0. My doctors are now recommending I get a Prostascint. Does any know how accurate a Prostascint is for a PSA of 1.0 ng/ml??????????? My present plans are to go the gene therapy route if the prostascint is positive. I really like the Insulin-induced hpoglycemia therapy in mexico; however, there's not enough historical data to statisfy me. Any comments are appreciated.
