I've got to take some zinc!< Now here's something I've wandered about. I used to, long ago, get white spots on my nails that were a sign of zinc defiency. Haven't had them for years now. I use Desitin Ointment, the original with 40% zinc oxide, as my underarm deodorant. Some may object to the slight odor of Cod Liver Oil, which it does contain, but I can't smell that for very long, In any case you can buy generic ointments with the same amount of zinc oxide but no Cod Liver Oil, but those ointments are much more stiff. I assume I'm getting plenty of zinc that way, transdermally. No fingernail spots anyway. Daddybob No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
