Guest guest
This is probably the last cross-post I'll do about this. I thought long and hard about just what it is, just what word is right to describe what I feel from this simple thing. Energizing? Stimulating? Nah, not really, and I've already used up those words anyway, plus I've learned that anything that is energizing or stimulating sooner or later fades to normal. Pain relieving? Well sorta, but that's just not the right point to put on it. RESILIENCE! That's it. It imparts resilience. Resilience is the one best word to describe what we lose as we age. And I do declare, I believe the resilience extends past the body and to the mind itself. I'm just feeling a lot more resilient. I have not soaked in a tub for years and years. I'm a shower kind of guy, get it done quick and efficient. As I eagerly prepared to do my tub soak last night, I had to ponder: " Just what is it about this thing that is causing me, rush-around-like-a-Firetruck-Bob, to take at least 45 minutes out of my day to stop everything and soak in a tub then dry off slowly? " It's the resilience. It is making so much difference in how much and what I accomplish in my waking hours that I actually have plenty of time to do this thing; furthermore if I don't do it, I'll lose out on productive time by not doing it. And about those waking hours- at first this protocol yielded deep, long, restful sleep, 9-10-11 hours of sleep. Now that has turned into deep and restful sleep in only about 6-7-8 hours a night.
