Hi, are you using rituxan or rexulin? I remember reading this in a

It will be rituxan. It has only been on the market for a couple of years

and is proving to be quite effective. The oncologist highly suggested I do

chemo along with Rituxan.

Hi, are you using rituxan or rexulin? I remember reading this in a

newsletter from Dr. , below, and thought I'd just forward it in it's

entirety to you.

Hope it helps.

If it's not your drug, then maybe it will save someone else's life!

Buenos dias compadres,

In our last mailing, to over 12,000, I asked if you

preferred a newsletter without the humor and my " thinking

" Medicine Only " version. However, I enjoy humor so

much, I tend to get carried away. Therefore, I shall

" bag " the humour (well . . . almost) and philosophy

for now and stick to areas wherein I possess some expertise.

IMPOTENCE-A MAN'S WORST FEAR!

Sooner or later almost every man will become anxiety-ridden

because his penis won't work as well as it once did.

We men are brainswashed from our youth to believe

that a " Real Man " can perform like a " World Class Swordsman "

at any time. Our ego is closely tied in with our penis.

Fortunately, for most men, the problem can be solved;

In MOST cases without any expensive drugs. For a candid

explanation of this chronic problem and the available

remedies, click:

http://cat007.com/impotent.htm

This is a " Must Read " for couples over 40, and valuable

for all.

--------------------------------------------------------------

CHOLERSTEROL DRUGS MAY BE YOUR DEATH SENTENCE

In 1987, Merck made headlines when it came out with

Mevacor (lovastatin), the first cholesterol-lowering

statin drug. Statins block enzyme pathways involved

in the production of cholesterol, thereby lowering

cholesterol levels. But that's not all these drugs

do.

The same enzymes that are involved in the production

of cholesterol are also required for the production

of an essential compound called coenzyme Q10. Not

surprisingly, lower cholesterol levels in statin drug

users are accompanied by reduced levels of CoQ10.

Coenzyme Q10 -- also called ubiquinone, which means

" occurring everywhere " -- plays an important role in

the manufacture of ATP, the fuel that runs cellular

processes. Though it is present in every cell in your

body, it is especially concentrated in the very active

cells of your heart. Depriving the heart of CoQ10

is like removing a spark plug from your engine -- it

just won't work. Low levels of CoQ10 are implicated

in virtually all cardiovascular diseases, including

angina, hypertension, cardiomyopathy and congestive

heart failure.

What is Merck Waiting For?

Merck knew that statins deplete CoQ10, and knew that

this could contribute to heart disease. In 1990, this

drug manufacturer sought and received a patent for

Mevacor and other statin drugs formulated with up to

1,000 mg of coenzyme Q10 to prevent or alleviate cardiomyopathy,

a serious condition that can cause congestive heart

failure.

However, Merck has not brought these combination products

to market, nor has this drug company educated physicians

on the important of supplementing CoQ10 to offset the

dangers of these drugs to the heart. Because they

hold the patent, other drug companies are prevented

from coming out with a statin/CoQ10 product.

If you're taking a statin drug (Zocor, Provacol, etc.),

don't wait for your doctor to warn you of the substantial

risks. Consider this fact: in the last 15 years (roughly

the time that statins have been on the market), the

incidence of congestive heart failure has tripled.

If you want to avoid becoming a statistic, it is imperative

that you take 200 mg of coenzyme Q10 daily. You should

also try to lower your cholesterol levels with a low-fat

diet, targeted nutritional supplements and exercise.

The " Niacin Flush " on our web pages is working wonders

for many. This may reduce or eliminate your reliance

on cholesterol-lowering medication.

--------------------------------------------

NUTS TO YOU!!!

Many people are afraid to eat nuts because of their

high fat content. However, the type of fat present

in nuts is not bad at all. In fact, it is an excellent

source of essential fatty acids which are vital to

our health.

In this study, people with normal cholesterol were

asked to add 3/4 cup of pecans daily to their usual

diet. In only 4 weeks, their LDL (bad) cholesterol

was down by 10%. In contrast, there was no change

in LDL or total cholesterol in people who did not eat

pecans. Previous studies with walnuts and almonds

have shown similar results. In addition to essential

fats, pecans are a good source of fiber, copper, magnesium

and vitamin E.

----------------------------------------

BLOOD PRESSURE TREND PREDICTS HEART RISK

High blood pressure or hypertension (HTN) is a known

risk factor for heart disease. This is true not only

when both systolic (upper) and diastolic (lower) readings

are elevated, but even if only one of the numbers is

high.

In this study, more then 20,000 men between 20 and

82 were followed for up to 17 years. They have identified

3 groups of patients: those whose numbers remained

steady (average pressure 141/82), those who had an

increase in both numbers (average pressure 149/94)

and those whose systolic pressure increased while diastolic

went down (average pressure 141/76).

Surprisingly, the last group had the highest risk of

cardiovascular death. Men whose systolic pressure

went up while diastolic pressure decreased had double

the risk of death compared to those men whose numbers

remained steady. The risk also increased when both

systolic and diastolic numbers went up, but to a lesser

extent. The authors conclude that it is a mistake to

rely on a single pressure measurement and suggest that

doctors follow long-term pressure changes to determine

the risk of heart disease.

---------------------------------

MEDITATION REDUCES HEART AND STROKE RISK

Transcendental Meditation is not just good for

inner peace, it can actually reduce the risk of heart

attacks and strokes. In this study, 138 black adults

were randomly assigned to either the TM or an education

program about heart disease and its risk factors.

The TM group meditated for 20 minutes 2 times a day.

After a period of 6-9 months, the investigators have

measured the thickness of the carotid arteries in both

groups. The thickness of the arteries reflects the

level of plaque build-up. The thickness was reduced

in the meditation group, but not in the study group.

The authors estimate that there was about 11% reduction

in the risk of heart attack and a7.7% - 15% decrease

in stroke risk in the meditation group.

------------------------------------------------

ESTROGEN PROTECTS BRAIN FROM STROKE DAMAGE

In general, stroke is more common in men than in women,

however the difference tends to become less apparent

after menopause, suggesting that estrogen may play

a protective role. In this study, female rats were

subjected to an experimentally induced stroke. One

group of rats received an injection of estrogen at

various times after the stroke, while others did not

get estrogen and served as controls.

When estrogen was given within 3 hours of the stroke,

the amount of brain damage was reduced by about 1/2.

Estrogen worked by increasing blood flow to the damaged

area of the brain.

It would be interesting to see whether administering

estrogen to human stroke victims will produce similar

results, but it is clear that estrogen has a definite

protective effect.

--------------------------------------

MEN ARE AFRAID OF DOCTORS

A survey of 1,500 men and 2,850 women released by the

Commonwealth Fund, a non-profit research organization,

revealed what most of us knew all along - men are cowards

when it comes to medical care. They will try to avoid

seeing a doctor at all costs and often ignore symptoms

that signal a medical problem. About 1/4 said that

they would wait as long as possible before going to

a doctor if they felt sick or were in pain.

One in 4 did not see any doctor in the past year and

more than half did not have a physical exam. In contrast,

less than 1 in 10 women did not see a doctor in the

previous year. One in 3 men did not even have a regular

doctor (1 in 5 in women). About 60% of men over 50

did not have a test for colon cancer and 40% were not

checked for prostate cancer. If you are a man over

45, call your doctor and schedule a physical exam.

---------------------------------------

SAM'S FORMULA

Hundreds have begun taking Sam's formula (One Life).

We have received many so-called miracle reports from

those tasking it only a week or two. " Poppycock, "

I say. While I wouldn't " leave home without it, " it

is NOT an instant cure for anything. We prefer that

one not report anything until one has taken it for

several months. We just received this note from Cleo

in NYC. " I am 70 and can barely make ends meet. I

suspected this was some sort of scam, but I sent the

letter to One Life. My free bottle arrived in the

mail. Thank you. " .

We are honored to pay the tab for all the " Cleos " out

there. If you honestly cannot afford the $5.00 S/H

fee, don't worry about it. They did get an, " I can't

afford it " letter from zipcode 33480. Hmmmmmmm . .

.. that just happens to be Palm Beach, Florida. It

must be awful to live in one of the richest towns in

the world and not be able to afford five clams . .

.. tch, tch . . . poor thing.

MAGIC WITH A CALCULATOR

Enter 37037 in a hand held calculator. Ask someone

to take it and multiply by any number between 1 and

9. Ask them to hand it back while covering the result

of their multiplication. You are gonna do some magic.

Tap the X key and enter a 3 then hit =. Their original

number will be displayed as a six identical digits.

If their number was 7 the display will be 777777.

When you get bored, try it.
