Hi Sue!

Welcome! You'll learn a lot here. :))

I, too, am battling possible thyroid cancer. Possible cuz the FNA couldn't

ascertain cancer. I'm also partial to my thyroid, so my Doc agreed to try it

my way, w/ Armour Thyroid to try to bring my thyroid back to normal after

radiation from breast cancer shut it down (double wammy!), as well as my

juicing and trying various supplementation. My last blood test had a

complete reversal, from too high TSH to low TSH, meaning my body's actually

doing its job. :)

I've been taking the cottage cheese and flax oil, at the 1/4 cup:2 tbsp rate.

I swear by it and rarely miss a day. I take Barleygreen, Herbal Fiberblend

and Immunocal, along w/ digestive enzymes. That's it. The rest is pure

veggie & fruit juices, but mostly veggie (carrot & apple & beet & celery).

And exercise! Very important.

I also have fillings, which I cannot afford to have removed, nor can I come

close to finding a qualified dentist to do so. I'm pretty certain my thyroid

was affected about 6 years ago when my dentist drilled over a filling that

had cracked to give me a crown. There were no protective measures taken and,

since I didn't know better at that time, I didn't ask. Just my humble

opinion.

I feel 100% better and, in fact, haven't felt this good since I was a little

kid. Proof that whole foods help the body heal itself. The swelling in my

thyroid (tumor) has gone down cuz I can feel my windpipe, which I haven't

been able to do for quite some time, and it doesn't choke me anymore when I

hug my hubby. :)) My ultrasound is this Thursday, so I'm very anxious.

Best,

Judi

<< hi there,

i'm brand new to this group. i have been diagnosed with papillary thyroid

cancer with mets to the neck. i'm scheduled for surgery in two weeks, but

am considering putting it off. surgery consists of taking out my thyroid

and all of the lymph nodes (20-30) on the right side of my neck. the

success rate with surgery for this cancer is 95%, however, i like my

thyroid, and would like to try to keep it! does anyone know of anybody who

has attempted to fight thyroid cancer with alternative methods? any

thoughts on hulda clark's methods? thank you very much,

i'm looking forward to seeing what this group is about :)
