Guest guest
I just want to relate my experience with Vit. D supplementation. I used to have SAD every winter. When I finally put the pieces together and began to supplement with vit D3 drops it went away. So for me, even though Vit. D from sunlight may be superior, the drops work very well for my winter blues. -- [ ] Re: MMS and Lyme (Vitamin D) Hi Olive, That's interesting. I have a friend who is a wholistic dentist who uses O ring testing. He has not found that vitamin D in supplement form tests well for anyone. The chiropractor that I see said the same thing about vitamin D supplements. The only one that he finds OK for those who need it, is Standard Process' Cataplex D. It is D3. I have a friend whose joints start to ache when she takes vitamin D...same as your experience. I wonder if sun vitamin D is the best solution. Anyway, it's an interesting topic especially since so many studies have shown that low levels of vitamin D are linked to high blood pressure, cancer and MS. Sometimes I wish things in the health arena were a bit more simple! Guest guest
Olive, That's a good way to look at nutrition/health protocols. Some things may have to be added/subtracted temporarily, for our health. I do hope we both can get outside into the sunshine this spring. I love gardening! Guest guest
Getting out in the sun for 15 minutes also helps. I've sat in my car facing the sun. I've laid in the hot tub on a floatie mattress. There are ways to get sun in winter. Be creative! I've been thinking about getting a small greenhouse just for sunbathing in winter.
