HCV does not have cell walls, it's not a cell, it surrounds itself

with a capsid.

It's cloaks itself with proteins to get into the cell, then takes off

the cloak and multiplies. When it fills the cell with replications,

the cell breaks and off the little buggers go, to cloak and find new

cells.

Kathy,

Yes, but proteolytic will eat away at the protein that is surrounding it.

From: http://WWW.doctormurray.Com/articles/Penzymes.htm

The Healing Power of Proteolytic Enzymes

Proteolytic enzymes (or proteases) refer to the various enzymes that digest (break down into smaller units) protein. These enzymes include the pancreatic proteases chymotrypsin and trypsin, bromelain (pineapple enzyme), papain (papaya enzyme), fungal proteases, and Serratia peptidase (the “silk worm” enzyme). Preparations of proteolytic enzymes have been shown to be useful in the following situations:

CancerDigestion supportFibrocystic breast diseaseFood allergiesHardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis)Hepatitis CHerpes zoster (shingles)Inflammation, sports injuries and traumaPancreatic insufficiencyMultiple sclerosis Rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune disordersSinusitis, asthma, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
