Guest guest
I truly believe the hip alignment problem is crucial. Actually the problem starts in the atlas at the top of the spine. When that's adjusted properly it will affect the hips. If you happen to live in California there's a guy who has a brilliant treatment that permanently adjusts the atlas. I had it done in early November at a health show we were both working at and saw him again last weekend and found out that my legs were still exactly the same length. Mine have always changed. My upper back pain that recurred no matter what I did for it is also gone. Here's his website: http://www.newdawnclinic.net/ If you live in Europe there's a treatment called Vitametik that works beautiful but it's not permanent like this guys is (unless you get whiplash or other very serious injury). I believe the lyme & co critters set up housekeeping in certain places, favorite among them being places of least blood circulation. I think these 'settlements' interfere with function, movement, and affect structure. In my case I think I have a twist that started at the right side of the neck, moved across the back and down to the left hip. I believe it's as the settlements clear out, there's more flexibility in my muscles, and my alignment improves. I think it's all part of the lyme thing. > Naomi >
Guest guest
In a newsletter I got many years ago, the author raved about this Atlas adjustment. I remember the statement that in the hands of a skilled practitioner this would be the only chiropractic adjustment needed. I'm only about 3000 miles away........... :-( Starshar From: " Sharon " <hotmocha@...> >I truly believe the hip alignment problem is crucial. Guest guest
Back home, my car mechanic mentioned that he would be gone for a week to another state to " see my chiropractor " . I said " what the heck are you going that far for a chiro? There are plenty right here " . He said that he had gone to various chiros for years for a bad back problem--car had fallen on him. He went, like everyone else, on a regular basis. Then he was visiting his sister in the other state and the pain hit him really hard, so he chose a chiro out of the phone book. He said when he got there that man got him right out of pain and said he wouldn't have to go visit any other chiro for a long, long time. He explained that if a chiropractor fixed people correctly, they would not have many customers coming back for tune ups, but that he didn't believe in doing that. My mechanic told me that he said all chiros know how to truly fix a person, but they just don't so that they can continue to get money from the clients. I don't know if that's true or not, but my mechanic said that he would go get just that one adjustment from that one chiropractor, and be good for 3 or 4 years. Then he'd turn wrong, or lift something wrong and his back would get bad again, so he'd drive back to that chiropractor, get one adjustment and be fine again for years. Maybe that other chiro guy used the Atlas method. samala,On 3/4/08, Starshar <starshar@...> wrote: In a newsletter I got many years ago, the author raved about this Atlas adjustment. Guest guest
Find a chiropractor that does Upper Cervical. I go to a Blair practitioner. He has been able to bring me to a straight spine from very crooked. It took awhile though for it to stay for a few days. If you Google upper cervical, you can find a few different ones and where they practice. Carmen Starshar wrote: In a newsletter I got many years ago, the author raved about this Atlas adjustment.
