Guest guest
My wife and I had been using apple cider vinegar, organic, uncut, about three teaspoons in a glass of water per meal for quite a number of years but when I read that cancer cells did better in an acid environment we quit. I believe the vinegar has a lot of value health wise and I wish we really knew whether it affects cancer adversely. If I felt that it would not make the cancer worse I would return to it tomorrow. I have the books you mentioned by Dr. Jarvis and, having grown up on a farm, the things he talked about made sense to me. Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this list but thought I would add some input regarding this topic... It is my understanding that when you ingest an acidic element...such as vinegar...your body acts to neutralize it with alkaline secretions; thus maintaining your body's healthy alkaline-balanced state. It is also my understanding that RAW/UNPROCESSED/UNHEATED apple cider vinegar contains enzymes which may be beneficial. Assuming these to be correct/true, I would say that ingesting apple cider vinegar would do more good than harm. Additionally, I think that ingesting kelp/seaweed is an excellent way to supplement your diet; especially diets which are low on iodine. Guest guest
I've started taking kelp in roasted form (yaki nori), available at your nearby Japanese grocery. It comes in thin sheets and I put bits of it in soup or just munch on it straight. Maybe not for everyone, but I like it. Guest guest
Dried kelp may not be processed correctly for optimal assimilation of nutrients. At times they simply passed out of my system undigested (I used a cheap brand.) A nutritional support for the Hallelujah Diet is barley greens plus kelp. You can read more about them at: http://hacres.com/html/halldiet.html Emerald Green is a green superfood (powder) made with over 2 dozen plants. It's loaded with chlorophyll and has soy, spirulina, barley, wheat grass, alfalfa, brown rice bran, Chlorella, beets, Siberian ginseng, Echinacea, Astragalus, and more. I heard that it could clean out about 10 pounds of waste inside of you. It can also oxygenate cells, help alkalinize your blood and colon, and strengthen your immune system, all of which are important in fighting cancer. O'DONNELL'S HEALTH ADVANTAGE E-mail: askdrtony@...
