Guest guest
List, Actually the "...fool" heading did not originate with me, but I am in agreement with it. Let me ask the list of what to do about a poster () who recommends a discredited and toxic treatment, ignores all evidence that points this out to him, and then posts the following: "Thioproline is the most active ingredient in the Shiitake mushroom. Refer back to the website, geocities.com/HotSprings/villa/1706/shiitake.html, look at the table 'Constituyentes Activos en el Shiitake', and you will see that 'Thioprolina-TCA-aminoacido' has the highest rating - 27." [repeatedly posted by ] Here's the site -- if it copied and pasted OK : Constituyentes Activos en el Shiitake Constituyente Acción Fuente Nucleótidos o derivados de ácidos nucleicos Inhibidor de agregación plaquetaria 9 Eritadenina Hipolipidémico 10 C-1-2 (polisacárido) Inmunoactivo 11 Lectina Inmunoactivo 12 Lentinan (poliacárido) Inmunoactivo 13 – 16 Emitanina (polisacárido) Inmunoactivo 17 EP3 (lignina) Antiviral, inmunoactivo 18 – 19 KS-2, KS-2-B (péptido) Antiviral, inmunoactivo antibacterial 20 – 22 Poliribonucleótidos Inmunoactivo 23 – 24 Ac2P (polisacárido) Antiviral 25 FBP (proteína) Antiviral 26 Thioprolina (TCA) (aminoácido) Eliminador de nitritos 27 The last listed component is thioproline. Fuente in Spanish means source. Below is the source. Thioproline is listed as a nitrite trap, not as an anything with anti-cancer activity. Nitrite trapping might be the source of some of its neurotoxicity. 27. Y. Kurashima et al., "Marked Formation of Thiazolidine-4-carboxylic Acid, an Effective Nitrite Trapping Agent in Vivo, on Boiling of Dried Shiitake Mushroom", Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry 38 (1990): 1945-49. List, this is very typical of the depth and thoroughness of 's "research". Dr. Gammill/Shiitake mushrooms Dr. Gammill stated in his August 6 posting, 'Get off this list you fool.....': " There are scores of mushrooms with antineoplastic activity. Shiitake contains lentinen which has been used for years. No big deal. Apparently someone noted a trace of thioproline in shiitake, not nearly enough for biological activity....." You are mistaken, Dr. Gammill; please refer to 'I am the first person in history', specifically, '2. CANCER': "Thioproline is the most active ingredient in the Shiitake mushroom. Refer back to the website, geocities.com/HotSprings/villa/1706/shiitake.html, look at the table 'Constituyentes Activos en el Shiitake', and you will see that 'Thioprolina-TCA-aminoacido' has the highest rating - 27." Physicians should be sued for Dereliction of Duty if they do not tell Cancer patients about the Shiitake mushroom. , jsr1936@...
