Guest guest
Bob, where are you replying from, the website or your own mail program on your computer? ....as explained ad nauseum in the past, i use outlook98. it's been nice being able to reply to your posts while you weren't using this blue text format that crashes it. Was the bump on your thumb in the skin layer, the muscular layer beneath it, or on the bone, like mine? ....again, as explained in a couple posts recently, it was on top of a bone bump at the base of the thumb where it meets the palm. on the bone. ....and, Frex does NOT mean frequency ... i've posted multiple replies re that also. Kathy RE: [ ] Re: Lyme and enzymes (and Frex?) kathy has that damned blue format that crashes my mail program going again, so if i'm going to reply to her it has to be indirectly via someone elses reply or some other trick. too much work for what? Guest guest
this one has black text, and as i knew it would, works fine. when they come through with blue text i can're reply or forward because as soon as it opens in a window the outlook crashes. i can copy the contents from the preview pane to the clipboard and paste it in a new message and go with that. we're in plain text now. arial and roman are fonts...blue is color. i haven't noticed what font the blue messages are in, but they're other than plain text or they would be black; html? rtf? if you send in rtf or html, or if you reply to a mssg that's originally in html or rtf, what color do you see when you type? isn't it blue? am i the only one who sees blue text in your messages? you'd stopped it for awhile, and i think you said something about server issues or something and were using a different address to send from or a different ISP's server or something? i believe once you experimentally sent a blue one from a different address but same isp and it still did the crash thing. all i'm saying is, when you use plain text i can reply without jumping through hoops to do it. that other blue thing is weird, and yes i'm singling you out because your messages are the only ones that do it...and it's something that's been gone for awhile but recently returned for some reason...??? so, if you're going to post something addressing a question to me, just please use plain text or else it's a plain pain to reply at this end. i've given up trying to find the cause, and it's just not worth fussing with spending time on. and there's no need for any emotional investment in this at all. it's an annoying little problem; i curse the problem, it probably can't feel a thing, and if it does i hope it hurts. if you want to feel personally picked on that's your choice. but it's true that it's nothing new and kind of annoying and amazing to me that you seem to have no recollection of it from the past 6 months or so. > RE: [ ] Re: > Lyme and enzymes (and Frex?) > > > kathy has that damned blue format that crashes > my mail program going again, so if i'm going to > reply to her it has to be indirectly via someone > elses reply or some other trick. too much work > for what? > > > > >
Guest guest
Just in case Internet Explorer is the problem, try this 1) First Uninstall IE 2) Download and Install IE again At least that is what I read somewhere from a techie. 3) Send a blistering letter to Microsoft and tell them what is happening and for all the money they have sucked out of us, the least they can do is give us a high grade product ...or would they rather we use a different browser. bob Larson <bobList@...> wrote: this one has black text, and as i knew it would, works fine. when they comethrough with blue text i can're reply or forward because as soon as it opensin a window the outlook crashes. i can copy the contents from the previewpane to the clipboard and paste it in a new message and go with that.we're in plain text now. arial and roman are fonts...blue is color. ihaven't noticed what font the blue messages are in, but they're other thanplain text or they would be black; html? rtf?if you send in rtf or html, or if you reply to a mssg that's originally inhtml or rtf, what color do you see when you type? isn't it blue? am i theonly one who sees blue text in your messages?you'd stopped it for awhile, and i think you said something about serverissues or something and were using a different address to send from or adifferent ISP's server or something? i believe once you experimentally senta blue one from a different address but same isp and it still did the crashthing.all i'm saying is, when you use plain text i can reply without jumpingthrough hoops to do it. that other blue thing is weird, and yes i'msingling you out because your messages are the only ones that do it...andit's something that's been gone for awhile but recently returned for somereason...???so, if you're going to post something addressing a question to me, justplease use plain text or else it's a plain pain to reply at this end. i'vegiven up trying to find the cause, and it's just not worth fussing withspending time on.and there's no need for any emotional investment in this at all.it's an annoying little problem; i curse the problem, it probably can't feela thing, and if it does i hope it hurts. if you want to feel personallypicked on that's your choice.but it's true that it's nothing new and kind of annoying and amazing to methat you seem to have no recollection of it from the past 6 months or so.> RE: [ ] Re:> Lyme and enzymes (and Frex?)>>> kathy has that damned blue format that crashes> my mail program going again, so if i'm going to> reply to her it has to be indirectly via someone> elses reply or some other trick. too much work> for what?>>>>>
Guest guest
the browser has nothing to do with this problem that i know of, except it's interesting that Kathy's browser is inclined to just disappear erratically...so there might be some connection there. i send nothing to microsoft, including time spent writing letters. i spend no money on their products except at thrift stores etc. i must use their stuff, but they'll never get another dime out of me directly if i can manage it... i'll stay a few years behind times and pick through whatever turns up as used rejects to get the best of whatever microsoft has offered. -----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of helen/zhebeeSent: Friday, March 07, 2008 4:37 AM Subject: RE: [ ] bumps, email crashing, and frex Just in case Internet Explorer is the problem, try this 1) First Uninstall IE 2) Download and Install IE again At least that is what I read somewhere from a techie. 3) Send a blistering letter to Microsoft and tell them what is happening and for all the money they have sucked out of us, the least they can do is give us a high grade product ...or would they rather we use a different browser.
