Guest guest
Hi,How exactly do you apply the DMSO? Is there a website that tells how to do it? Do you put it in water or oil? How long do you leave it on? .... I'm in so much muscle pain for a year now that I need to try something new...Thanks and regards,LydiaOn Mar 11, 2008, at 6:40 PM, oliveo13 wrote:Hi All,Last week I was down and out with terrible shoulder pain and got a lotof good advice. I just want to provide an update to what I thought wasgoing to be a real setback for me. Thanks to DMSO my pain was relievedin just a few days. I went from being scared and hardly able to moveto totally pain free within a few days. I used DMSO on where I thoughtthe pain was coming from (my shoulder and bicep)and had about a 75%relief. My doctor pinpointed the source of the pain to be the muscleunder the armpit. One application of DMSO onto that muscle totallycleared it up. What an amazing product. I used the DMSO.BZ productavailable on the internet. I believe it was DaddyBob's posts that made me aware of DMSO so aspecial thank you for making me aware of this wonderful product. MyLyme disease has debilitated my neck muscles so I have been using theDMSO on that area now, too. I haven't gotten relief yet but amhopeful. Actually, I am rubbing MMS into the area then putting theDMSO on right after. Olive
Guest guest
Hi Lydia, The DMSO that I have can be applied directly to the skin. It is a human grade product that is cut to the right concentration so it can be applied to the skin. I pour about a teaspoon into a ramekin then use a cotton ball to rub it onto the affected muscles. The website for the DMSO is below. http://www.dmso-use.com/dmso_bz_solution.html Olive > > > Hi All, > > > > Last week I was down and out with terrible shoulder pain and got a lot > > of good advice. Guest guest
I talked to a guy once that had studied how muscles worked. I mentioned that I (use to) have problems with lower back pain. He had me lay down on a massage table and he had a hand held vibrator--the old kind that use to fit in your palm, but he said any kind would work, so long as it had a flat head. Anyway. he said that many times when people's backs hurt they massage the back muscles, but actually those muscles run around the sides of the body and attach to the ribs and THAT is where the pain actually comes from. So while I was lying on the table on my side, he began massaging my side, all the way from under the arm pit to the waist, and a bit towards the front part of the ribs, and along the back on the ribs, for 10 minutes, then he had me turn over and he did the other side the same way. He told me 20 minutes was all it would take. I got up and felt " good " --still had a bit of pain, but better than I had been. Went on about my day and didn't think much of it. Went to bed, and the next morning was I in for a shock. When I woke up and got out of bed I could not believe how loose I felt!! I had not realized my body had felt so tight, I suppose because it happened slowly and I just assumed it was normal for me. But after that massage, it must have totally loosened everything up, and I felt flexible, and loose as I had not felt in years. So next time you hit your spouse up for a back rub, have him/her include the side muscles. Actually they are much more important than the lower back muscles, for some reason. I never did see the guy again (I was at a conference) so have no idea why this is so, but that's what he said. All I know is--it works!! samala,On 3/11/08, oliveo13 <oliveo13@...> wrote: Hi All, My doctor pinpointed the source of the pain to be the muscle under the armpit. Guest guest
I am also amazed at this product. I had almost immediate relief with low back pain. I also have a pulled hamstring. It took more applications, but it too has resolved. Amazing stuff! Ballady > > Hi All, > > Last week I was down and out with terrible shoulder pain and got a lot > of good advice. Guest guest
The DMSO group is: DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO/ Olive wrote: >Actually, I am rubbing MMS into the area then putting the DMSO on right after.< Olive- I'm glad to be of help about you learning about DMSO, but I'm a bit apprehensive about rubbing MMS and DMSO on your skin, together. External application of MMS on skin has been rough for some people, and by chasing it with DMSO, you may be going where no one has gone before. I use DMSO liberally on my skin anytime I have a fresh injury or serious flare-up of an old one. I use it as a carrier for CMO and rub it on my left hip and thigh. I now drink one teaspoon in juice on Monday morning. I want to caution anyone who considers drinking DMSO to not do it in conjunction with any medications. Also, the first few times you do it you may get a real buzz and feel fantastic because it liberates all stored fractions of any pain killers and caffiene in your system. The effect is temporary and should not be interpreted as a wonderful lasting effect. The reason for drinking DMSO is to feel loosened up somewhat, to decrease calcification, to thin the blood, and to kill off any critters that are susceptible to it. We have been using Natrol's CetylPure with some success. I read that the original was developed from rat fat as rats don't get arthritis. I don't know what brand would be the best. Guest guest
>Daddybob-- Which brand of CMO are you using? < I'm using a generic product that is made by an independent chemist near Raleigh NC. I don't know how much longer he will make it. He's 67 and wanting to retire. I hope to drive up there soon and meet him and see if he will make arrangements for it to keep being made. The price is real good and the product has worked very well for me. DB No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG. Guest guest
Cetyl Myristoleate supplement information Cetyl myristoleate is the common name for cis-9-cetyl myristoleate, a compound synthesized from cetyl alcohol and mysristoleic acid. The rational for the use of cetyl myristoleate is that it may inhibit the production of inflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Cetyl myristoleate was discovered in 1972 by Harry W. Diehl, Ph.D., a researcher at the National Institutes of Health. At the time, Dr. Diehl was responsible for testing anti-inflammatory drugs on lab animals. In order for him to test the drugs, he first had to artificially induce arthritis in the animals by injecting a heat-killed bacterium called Freund's adjuvant. Dr. Diehl discovered that Swiss albino mice did not get arthritis after injection of Freund's adjuvant. Eventually, he was able to determine that cetyl myristoleate was the factor present naturally in mice that was responsible for this protection. When cetyl myristoleate was injected into various strains of rats, it offered the same protection against arthritis. It has been proposed that cetyl myristoleate acts as a joint " lubricant " and anti-inflammatory agent. > > What is cmo? joyce > > > > >
