Guest guest
I am mailing the following letter to New Orleans - May 21, 2001 The best Cancer and AIDS chemical? Professor V. Schally and the Department of Medicine Tulane University School of Medicine New Orleans, Louisiana 70112 Dear Professor Schally and Tulane University School of Medicine, I hope you will join me in urging Harold E. Varmus, M.D., Director, National Institutes of Health (NIH), to repeat a 1979 Spanish cancer clinical trial (MEDLINE, 6101417) in which this result was achieved after a simple acid related to penicillin had been administered to patients - " ....Histological studies showed involution and transformation into low-grade malignancies and disappearance of evidence of cancer. " No other chemicals or therapies were administered to the patients during the course of the trial. The acid was Thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid; Professor Schally, you abbreviate it as 'Tac'. Professor Schally, you have invented the chemical, RC-3940-II, which includes less than 10% Tac in its composition. Professor Schally, you think that RC-3940-II might be effective upon most human cancers. Tulane University has patented RC-3940-II. However, I think that Tac, by itself, would prove to be more effective than RC-3940-II as a cancer fighter because - 1. I assume the molecular mass of RC-3940-II is about 1056.5. The molecular mass of Tac is 133.18. Consequently, it would easier for the human body to metabolize Tac. 2. Professor Schally, you and your colleagues stated in your January, 1997 paper ('Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA'): " Chemotherapeutic agents play a major role in the management of various cancers in spite of the frequent severe toxic side effects caused by their nonselective action during systemic administration.... " Professor Schally, I have discovered a unique fact of nature - The toxicity of Tac is neutralized by vitamin C. The physiological principle is the 'Ascorbic Acid Flush'. See page 12 of The Cure for Cancer? . 3. Tac is inexpensive - $145.00 for 250 grams, a two month supply. Thus, I hope in a new clinical trial all Cancer patients could safely swallow everyday at least 40 mg/kg of Tac and 7,000 mg. of vitamin C. Professor Schally, these passages might explain what happens to a cancer cell when it absorbs Tac - " ....In thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid and metal ion chelates of cysteine and histidine, the rotamer with the amino and sulfhydryl or imidazole groups trans is geometrically impossible.... " ('Journal of the American Chemical Society', March 5, 1965) " ....Tac is a closed ring analog of Met and is more hydrophobic than Met. The replacement of Phe with Tac in reduced bond BN antagonists produced improved Ki and IC50 values.... " (Professor Schally, et al., 'Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA', December, 1994) The word 'hydrophobic' means 'water repellent'. Professor Schally, it is my speculation that when a cancer cell absorbs Tac, it consequently loses the ability to absorb water; thus it dies. Professor Schally and Tulane University School of Medicine, again, I hope you will join me in urging Dr. Varmus to repeat (with modifications) a simple 1979 cancer clinical trial in which this result was achieved after Tac had been administered to patients - " ....disappearance of evidence of cancer. " Sincerely, , 5086 Sunrise Avenue, Portage, Indiana 46368, (219) 763-1933 The Cure for Cancer? http://cures for cancer.ws/cures for cancer/tac-cure.htm Post Script - Tac has a 'chemical cousin' L-2-Methylthiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid (L-MTCA). This acid is formed by combining acetaldehyde and cysteine. Chemical Abstracts, volume 73, 1970, 77242v, describes this acid as a 'cough inhibitor' that " ....reduced the viscosity of mucus by 35-65% after 15 min. " The last research (1996) involving L-MTCA (MTCA) concluded (MEDLINE, 8795461); " ....The mice protected with either MTCA or PTCA showed no visible effects of naphthalene toxicity or lens opacities at any time. It can be concluded that these L-cysteine prodrugs were effective in preventing naphthalene-induced cataract and maintaining near-normal hepatic glutathione levels. " The AIDS virus, HIV, can be inactivated in the test tube by acetaldehyde, according to both the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Is L-MTCA the best chemical to treat AIDS? Copies to - Harold E. Varmus, M.D., Dr. Lyle E. Cheadle, Congressman J. Visclosky, Congressman Burton, Lake/Porter County Medical Society, cures for cancer and others
