Guest guest
http://vegepet.com lots of great information about what's in petfood. http://vegancats.com store that sells healthy dog and cat food. Also has the recipes from vegepet as a free download, and sells the vegepet yeast and supplements. I've bought from them for years. http://vegetariandogs.com Book with recipes. The second is the best place I've found to get the supplements from the first site. The third is a nice book full of recipes and instructions for making pet food. Our dogs are not vegetarian, they get eggs and tuna fish. I decided that I didn't want to use the textured soy protein, which I would not eat myself. And I decided that it just took way too much tofu to make things work. So in lieu of tofu, we use the eggs and tuna. It allowed us to cut way back on calcium supplementation, since tofu has a lot of phosphorus and the ratio of calcium to phosphorus is important in dog food. Also the ratio of protein to fat. Oh oh, I just realized I have to go mix up the dogfood so I can feed them in an hour! ha ha I'm not affiliated with any of these sites.
