I am involved in a large multi-media project that looks at HIV/AIDS and how it is impacting the global community. The project involves a documentary film, book, photographic exhibit, web page and educational workbook for teachers and students. We are hoping to find a courageous young person or group of people to profile, we are looking for those whose actions with regards to the AIDS crises make them " youth hero’s " and who can serve as an inspiration to other children. Are there any children in your area that you feel would be appropriate for this type of profile? Any children who make giant efforts on behalf of others in the field of AIDS prevention, care of awareness? U.N. Secretary General, Kofi n and former U.S. President Bill Clinton are involved with the project . We are aiming to distribute the film and book to global policy makers to try and alert them to the urgency to deal with the global AIDS epidemic. It is possible that groups who receive attention through the profiles of their volunteers could receive funding from concerned organisations. I look forward to hearing from you if you have any ideas about possible " Youth Hero's " that we can profile.
