Guest guest
Magnesium oil does everything the oral form does, just better, as it is absorbed through the skin and not the intestines. The oil is very strong and may cause some stinging if you do not dilute it about 50/50. I use the gel because of this issue. I also do not like the greasy feel of the magnesium oil on my hands afterwards. My daughter bathes in the magnesium oil several times a week. It is great for detoxing this way as well. Hope that helps. -- [ ] Re:Transdermal Magnesium Thanks for all the info. and I'm from Manhattan, not Oz. One more question: You mention taking different types of mag. I thought the Mag oil would be sufficient for my mag needs. I have only been able to take Mag glycinate chelated because of the aforementioned diarrhea problem with all other mag products. My understanding is that Mag (in genral) is good for the heart, sleep, muscular issues, etc. If mag oil is not going to address everything I'll stick to my glycinate. " I bought mine here: http://www.mfcd.net/depot/magoil.asp I've been rubbing it straight which is what it says can be done on the bottle. I've no idea how much to use so my daughter rubs it into my cervical spine, neck, shoulders and also on the bottoms of my feet. I sometimes rub some on my tummy and inside forearms too. Mine wasn't supplied with a dropper or pump so it is a bit of a nuisance. It hasn't had any good impact at all for me and I sure could do with something that would help me. Best wishes....LD
