Attorneys Farley and Cahill will be presenting a free

Workshop for Parents of Developmentally Disabled Persons on March

20, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the Naperville Public Library

(95th Street) at 3015 Cedar Glade Drive, Naperville, IL 60564.

The following topics will be covered:

1) Why It Is Essential To Get Your Name On The State of

Illinois Waiting List.

2) What Services Are Available For Your Child (outside of the

school system) from The State of Illinois because of your child's

disability.

3) Why developmentally disabled persons should not have more

than $2,000 in their name.

4) Why a " Special Needs Trust " can have monies to benefit the

disabled person in excess of $2,000 and still qualify the person for

medicaid funded disability services.

5) Applying for SSI (Supplemental Security Income) at age 18

and how to obtain the maximum monthly payment ($637) without

a 1/3rd reduction.

6) Guardianship at age 18 - Yes or No.

7) What Are My Options if State of Illinois Denies Funding For

Services.
