$15,000 over 5 years & Intermittent CILA funding ( long)

Am HOPING to FINALLY get an answer on this funding on Monday from DDS.

Contacted my son's QMRP through his DT program; since they don't mess

with funding, was referred to DDS & got a couple emails back.....his

case manager there, has to talk to her boss, then will get back with

me.....after I TOLD HER & she decided that DOES qualify.

Okay, in the meantime, can anybody tell me WHERE this funding comes

from? I'm esp. interested in the assisstive technology. Accessible

Computer equipment mainly, for people who are blind.

Does anybody know the ins & outs of Intermittent CILA funding? IS

that part of the Home Based program, too? Since we aren't going to

abuse our son, & he's not homeless, he can't get emergency funding to

go into a CILA home AND just found out yesterday, that a shelter home

is going to be closing in our county, so they need to find places for

36 people. (elderly, dd & mi.) I don't know how many are dd.

Will also be following up on a call I received from a State Rep's

office, (am contacting the police dept...a sgt. there has a brother

who's disabled.)

Tonight our son is at an ICF-DD for an overnight visit....First time

we've had a break this long in 3 yrs....
