Guest guest
I completely agree. In fact, I didn't watch all of it because I was annoyed at the "comedy" of it. Guest guest
Hello I usually sneak in and just read but had to make a comment on this... My husband and I were also very upset with Silvermans choice of comedy act. The swearing wasn't so bad for us but her act was very tasteless and defiantely not what they were raising funds for. I also said last night that they could of used more kids on thier if even in films as thats what they were there for. Without the little movies about the kids affected you sort of lost your way watching the comedy and viewed it as another comedy show with good stars.... I havent heard how much was raised but you can download it on Xbox live and I believe they said ITunes, for a cost. I hope they do one like that minus here in Canada... Night of Too Many Stars Hi everyone, Was wondering if you all had seen this show last night? I watched the whole thing. Lots of famous stars. I was pleased to see that. And there was an occasional film short of children with Autism and their parents (I think they could've shown more film, but that's just my opinion). I wasn't so pleased about the material some of them used. Specifically Silverman. I know......this was supposed to be a comedy show. But her act was so tasteless. And she sang "Amazing Grace" while she performed her 'comedy' act! (I love this song because it was my Mother's favorite.) I have no clue why, out of all the millions of songs she could've picked, she picked that one. Some of the other stars were off-color and there was swearing bad enough for them to 'bleep' it out, but Silverman's act really made me sick. It's great that all these people got together for Autism. But I just wish some of them could've been a bit classier about it all. Ben Stiller and Rock (one of the 'dirtiest' comedians out there) seemed to have no problem keeping it clean and they were very enjoyable. I know some of you may not agree and that's okay.Maybe I was just having an off night. :-/ Anyone know how much they raised last night?
