Thanks, Vicki. Looking forward to being up at 7 am(not!) on a Saturday morning

to talk with folks! Actually...I am looking forward to, hopefully, attracting

new members to IPADDU. The more members we have, the more resources,

information and support we will provide for each other, AND, the more potential

political clout we will have to harness for advocating for the best quality

life for our sons and daughters, students, friends, neighbors who happen to have

a disability.

Ellen Bronfield on Disability Beat

Ellen Bronfield, one of the creators of IPADDUnite, will be

interviewed tomorrow (April 19) on my radio show, Disability Beat, a

public affairs program on disability issues, heard every Saturday from

7-8 am. The show is heard locally on WEFT Champaign, 90.1 FM, but for

those not in east central Illinois,it can also be heard online at

www.weft.org. We hope you not only listen, but call in with your

comments or questions. This is an opportunity to inform many more

about the great resource that we have as parents on this listserve!
