Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I went in today to have the trial put in for a second stim for my foot. Bad news is that the doctor couldn't get the lead to go in, as the bones in my spine are very close together. So I left the office in tears today and feel very defeated. So, now I'm sitting in my chair with an ice pack on my very sore back. My doctor (whom is a very caring person & very good at treating pain) was going to call the neurosurgeon & my insurance company with Medtronic to see if we can bypass the trial. We know that a second unit will work, because if I sit just right I can get some coverage in my foot & it helps. Otherwise I have to go back in again for them to try to put a trial in again. I am not sure that if I have to go back in for them to try again, that I will do it. At this time my back is killing me. Sorry, this is so long. Thanks for listening to me ramble & vent.
