I know that some of you have been suffering for as long as you can remember,

extending 20+ years. I am curious to know about weight gain, loss, and

other fluctuations since you have gotten RSD (or your illness/disease.) My

weight has gone up and down significantly over the years but since this last

flare

up that left me essentially house-ridden, I have gained 25-30 pounds. The

gain is partially because of my complete lack of exercise and partially

because I seek out " comfort " foods when I get discouraged or down. I know the

extra weight makes it more difficult on my body but eating is one of the few

joys

that I can still control. As far as appearance goes, I am not concerned

with the extra weight. My " circle " is very small and filled with only very

accepting, non-judgmental people and therefore the weight is of little concern

as

far as that goes. I do think that once I am able to go back out into the

world and start buying clothes and interacting with people outside of my

circle, it might become an issue to me. I don't have a particular point to

make

but I thought that this might be an interesting topic for us all to discuss.

Hope you guys think so too, I would like to hear you all " weigh-in " on this

HEHE! = )
