Guest guest
I wanted to send everyone an update on the issue that has been happening with the migraines. For the past week I have been doing some research on the issue. After looking for hours on the Internet I came across a section where I could find a physician which I did. I must of written a book explaining the entire situation from day one up to the migraine issue and what I am thinking is causing them. The response I got was quite interesting as it had been something my neurologist mentioned to me a few months ago. What could be causing these migraines is damage from car accident however it is farther up my back and in the C1 to C4 area. What was told to me basically is when the back damage occurred, it also caused spinal injury. Second, the chiropractor did correct the issue however it was only done half way. To put it in a nut shell, legal issues put a halt to the care I was getting and because of that the doctor said he is pretty sure that has a lot to do with it. The doctor also stated that it is quite true the type of damage I received from the car accident has been known to cause migraines. The best way to correct the situation is going to be revisiting this issue once again and that is to speak with my current doctor and his thoughts regarding a chiropractor. He mentioned the correction for my spine could be easy however there also could be some difficulty because of the area. Secondly, the doctor also mentioned in my situation it sounded to him as if I damaged a few nerves and because of that it has caused trouble in other areas of my back. I will be revisiting my neurologist on December 12th but I have been taking notes and I have documentation to supply him with to discuss options for how we could possibly correct this matter. The migraines have started to slow down but only because I started using over the counter pain gel strips. I hope and pray that we can work something out before the next round of migraines comes. I will keep in touch with everyone on this as things move forward. I hope that everyone is able to have a pain free and Happy Thanksgiving next week.
