Guest guest
I totally agree with what you are saying and I know that we do build up a tolerance to things whether it be medication or other things. That is one reason I felt it was a very valid concern when Dorothy brought this up. I had wondered the same thing myself in the back of my mind but had not seen it addressed before. Also, until I had the trial and got good relief from it, which I have now, there was really no need to pursue that aspect of it. I am going to query my PM about this on Tuesday when I go back to get my trial leads out. I talked to my rep today and they are going to try to get me fast tracked so I can be permanently implanted before the end of the year. I was able to do more work yesterday than I have in a long time without being totally miserable. Usually Iafter 30 min of sitting I am up trying to get my muscles to stop aching. I have to go get my back brace etc. Yesterday I sat here for over 10 hours and worked on stuff. I did not get uncomfortable til the last hour. I was amazed at the difference. I am sore today I know I over did it but I did want to test my limits and see how well I did. Thanks for your help and all SCS works less over time??? Hey guys I was reading what Dorothy wrote about her neuro said that patients came in and that SCS did not work on their leg pain after some time. Has anyone here noticed this?? I have not heard anything about this before now. Thanks to anyone who can give me a heads up on this.
