Guest guest
The brain surgery in '95 that removed the scar to cut back the seizures (which did) brought on chronic migraines. We tried various drugs and none of them really made a difference until Inderal came into the picture. I was on Inderal for approx 3 years and it was like a miracle drug of choice because it worked. I had been taking the Inderal along with Lamictal and Topomax for the epilepsy because the mix worked quite well. I had to stop with the Inderal because the migraines increased so we knew it was time to try something else. I'm taking Migranol now and in the past three or four days the migraines have gotten very severe. So bad, I've been in tears and not wanting to do anything let alone eat. Yeah, I know the worse thing I can do is not eat so I'm forcing myself to make sure something is in my stomach. What doesn't help the migraines is the barometric pressure changing and the fact being I've been working my tail off trying to finish up with college graduate classes. -Sue
