Guest guest
When I was a little girl my grandma had a very close friend. One day I noticed that she was wearing both a Cross and a Jewish Star. She was Christian and I am Jewish. Being a young child, I was very curious, and just came out and asked her why she was wearing both a cross and a star. She smiled at me, then took me around and said, " I'm covering my bases. I'll take prayers from wherever they'll come. By wearing both, she said, God is certain to hear me. " I never forgot this I believe that prayers should come from all over. I have friends from different ethnic backgrounds and we pray for each other other because of how we feel towards each other. I've always felt that the more prayers the better. When I pray it gives me a sense of calm, serenity. I don't pray for all my problems to be solved, but to help give me strength to help me deal with my problems. Learning different ways of doing things is what makes us grow as a person. Everyone is able to contribute something new and unique to the discussion.
