Any words of encouragement that you could offer would be greatly appreciated. That's what keeps us going, positive thinking. I hope that I have been able to offer some " words of wisdom " of my own to the group. We need that positive reinforcement to keep us on the right track. Studies have shown that when we think positive we have better control over the pain, when we think negative the pain gets away from us and out of control. MIKE AND I ARE SO PROUD THAT WE CAN SHARE IDEAS WITH SUCH A SENSATIONAL BUNCH OF PEOPLE....AND THAT WE LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY IS A MAJOR PLUS!!! MY MOM AND DAD ALWAYS TAUGHT ME , AND NOW I AVE PASSED ONTO MY WEE ONE.. (WHO IS 17 NOW!) THAT IF I HAVEN'T LEARNED SOMETHING NEW FROM THE TIME I AWOKE TO THE TIME MY HEAD HIT THE PILLOW FOR BED THAT NIGHT, IT WASN'T A GOOD COMPLETE DAY. WE ARE NEVER, EVER TO OLD TO LEARN SOMETHING!!! EVERYONE'S IDEAS AND OPIONIONS ARE IMPORTANT IN THIS GROUP.....TH EONLY THING THAT WON'T BE TOLERATED IS INAPPROPRIATE, VULGAR OR CRUEL WORDS OR MESSAGES TO ANOTHER MEMBER. WE ARE ALL ADULTS WHO SHARE ONE COMMON UNFORTUNATE FACT...WE ALL ARE IN PAIN AND EITHER HAVE STIMS OR ARE CONSIDERING ONE.
