I am glad you wrote. I was getting ready to send a post asking about you. I am

sorry you are not getting the relief that you were from the nerve blocks in the

beginning. I hope they figure out something for you soon! I know how awful it

can be to not have any type of adequate pain relief. Hang in there

Pain and Depression

Pain and deppression goes hand in hand. What frustrate me most is not

being able to do more Every since my back injury since 1999 I struggled

with the limtiedation I had to be the homekepper verses the going to a

job I struggle with trying to take care of our house I fall short of

getting everything done. using my stimulator and taking pain medication

is not enough If i bend down it sets my nerve pain off. Life we pain

patients live other who dont suffer with pain have no clue what we go

through. When some people sat I understand it makes me bite my tounge

unless you have pain 24/7 everty day you dont get it. Mike group owner

Nope nothing new today. I am waiting on the appt for the consult with the Neuro

now who will do the perm stim. I would imagine that the goof balls now will not

even try to get approval til I see him.

I was " instructed " last night at 10pm when I got my call from the " rep " that I

was to " wait " for the neuros office to call me to schedule this appt. I was not

to call and try to schedule it myself. So who knows when they will call.

He talked like they would get me in for the consult within the next couple of

weeks.

I have just made myself come to terms with this is not going to be done on my

time table or acc to my pain problems. It is going to be done to suit the drs,

ins, and the stupid reps who think its professional to call patients at 10pm at

night.

I will update when I hear something further.Thanks for asking

I was appalled by the 10:00pm call. I would have lost a piece of my mind.... The

only time I get calls late are emergencies or if I have given outright specific

permission to do so...which is usually based on importance or urgency, but rare

nonetheless. It's crazy he called u so late!
