Guest guest
I am so glad it was not an infection! I was reading up on the rates of infections and such with the stimulator and those things sounded nasty! I am glad that your wounds has closed up pretty much and that your stimulator is working well for you. As for me I am not scheduled yet SIGH. I am waiting for insurance approval once again and a surgery date from the neuro surgeon. I am hoping to get this done before the end of the year. The pain has already hit me again and I am not a happy camper. I do not want to spend the next two months feeling this way! Glad things are going well for you! Re: mad > Mike -Thank you sue. Guest guest
I hope that you will be able to get it done very soon...do you think there will be a problem with insurance approval? I never did have psych testing and medicare has already paid for it.... Guest guest
Thanks Deb I don't think that there will be a problem getting the insurance company to approve the procedure. I feel if they had any qualms about it they would have not given approval for the trial in the first place. Of course that is logical thinking on my part and insurance companies do not do things logically most of the time as we all know. What I am trying to get around is the insurance taking their own sweet time getting the approval which could take 2-3 weeks then we are in the holiday time. By then I am sure it would be after New Years before the surgeon could get me in. Now this is all conjecture on my part. Just from my experience in the past. I really do not want to have to wait until January to have this done. Besides the pain issues, I have already paid my deductible and all that mess this year. It would save me quite a few $$$ to get it done before the end of this year. I did not get a call back from the reps today SIGH. I don't want to sound like a whiny B**ch but I am sooo tired of waiting for people to call me back and being so out of control in my own life and health issues. Kim Re: mad > Mike -Thank you sue. Guest guest
Kim, Maybe a phone call to the insurance company...I wouldn't be surprised if insurance approved both parts at the same time....often a secretary or someone else wil drop the ball..once you know the insurance part you can possibly facilitate.... Guest guest
Ur not whiny...at least no more than any of the rest of us were....LOL Don't wait for calls! Call again everyday at LEAST once a day! U could call in morning, then again after lunch, then again before end of day. Lite that fire under their a**es. The squeeky wheel gets the grease!!! I would push hard for having it done before end of year! Call the doctors office daily also letting them know u aren't getting a response. They get busy n forget about little details...keep it at the front of their minds! You would be amazed how doctors can get things pushed thru. Good luck, Deanna Sent from my iPhone On Dec 1, 2008, at 7:32 PM, " kimleach " <kimleach@...> wrote: Thanks Deb I don't think that there will be a problem getting the insurance company to approve the procedure.
