Guest guest
Kim, Tell Medtronic that you are switching health insurance as of 1/1/09 and the new company wont cover it,.......oh gosh....I am bad....but that is a possibility,,,,the company could then decide not to change,,,,,they could be thinking about it right now,,.,of course I am not telling you to lie....that's just a little grease under your wheel right? Call again everyday at LEAST once a day! U could call in morning, then again after lunch, then again before end of day. Lite that fire under their a**es. The squeeky wheel gets the grease!!! I would push hard for having it done before end of year! Call the doctors office daily also letting them know u aren't getting a response. They get busy n forget about little details...keep it at the front of their minds! You would be amazed how doctors can get things pushed thru. I feel if they had any qualms about it they would have not given approval for the trial in the first place. Of course that is logical thinking on my part and insurance companies do not do things logically most of the time as we all know. What I am trying to get around is the insurance taking their own sweet time getting the approval which could take 2-3 weeks then we are in the holiday time. By then I am sure it would be after New Years before the surgeon could get me in. Now this is all conjecture on my part. Just from my experience in the past. I really do not want to have to wait until January to have this done. Besides the pain issues, I have already paid my deductible and all that mess this year. It would save me quite a few $$$ to get it done before the end of this year. I did not get a call back from the reps today SIGH. I don't want to sound like a whiny B**ch but I am sooo tired of waiting for people to call me back and being so out of control in my own life and health issues. Kim Re: mad > Mike -Thank you sue. Guest guest
Yeah that would work if I could get them to call me back to tell them anything. Sorry I am so crabby today, if they call me they are going to get an earful. I have called the Dr's office and left a msg for the only nurse there that knows what she is doing and returns calls when she can. I am going to call the insurance company next.
