I would contact my pain doctor. I was actually told by my primary care doc that

if I had any problems that were being treated by my pain doc or any stim

problems to call the pain doc.

Take Care,

B. in TEXAS

Hi all!

I had the stimulator implanted in April of last year. It has helped

tremendously for the pain I had on the lower right area of my back

(previously had fusion L3-L5).

Today, I felt extreme pain on the lower left area of my back.

Should I contact my primary doctor and/or my pain management doctor?

Thanks, !

Since I have an HMO I have to get approval from my primary doctor.  Also,

the pain management doctor is technically " out of network! "   Therefore, there

might be a delay in getting approval!
