Doesn't look like I'll be having one anytime soon after all.

My Neurosurgeon, finally saw him for results of my C-Spine CT Scans,

only 5 1/2 weeks later. He says he could do surgery on my C-3 bulging

disc, just about my fusion of C-4 - C-7, but he doesn't think it would

stop my pain or headaches.

He says the fusion between C-4 -C-5 and C-5 - C-6 are totally solid

and fused now, but C-6 - C-7 is not, my surgery was in May 07.

I have congenital spinal stenosis and some arthritis in my cervical

area also.

He's ordered Bilateral Upper Extremities EMG on the 22nd and I'll see

him again on the 30th. Not looking forward to more needles, just had

Medial Branch Blocks, bilateral in Oct., that didn't do anything for me.

I've been trying to get help with neck pain and bad headaches since

July. Now I'll be starting the year with still trying to get some relief!

They still have not given me anything for pain, dealing with this on

my own has become difficult. My PT finally got a prescription from my

GP for a Portable Tens Unit and I'm using that now to try and get some

relief.
