Guest guest
Hello Denisa Thanks for reminding me about the cat litter. Back when I was diagnosed with CHF, I spent about a month where I was just too darn tired to look after the cat litter and even though my older sister was around, she didn't touch the cat litter either. Fortunately, I managed to muster up enough energy after about a week to clean up the litter boxes take my meds and crawl back into bed, meanwhile the cats just decided to use anything lying around, towels, rugs, whatever. Since then, I got one of those automatic litter boxes and a bunch of rechargeable batteries but I find that I still have to change the batteries between once a day and once every day and a half but it does make it a lot easier because it uses a lot less litter. I don't think there's always a reason to be sad, it just happens sometimes. Being concerned about what the reason might be is a good sign though, it means that you don't want to be sad and that's a good thing. Glad to hear your car is working again. Regards, Denisa wrote: > > I'm bored. Just plain bored. Kinda sad too, but no real reason why. I > accomplished a lot by cleaning the kitchen at cat litter. I felt good > about that. I accomplished a lot by cleaning the kitchen at cat litter. I felt good about that. Feeling very blah tonight. I am mobile again. YEAH But with the shake in the front end I'm not taking the car far. Jack told me to take Sir to his tire shop Tuesday, he'd look at it. He actually changes and sells tires for 18 Wheelers and large equipment, but will do regular tires for his AA friends. I hope it's just something easy like needs balancing, a tire is going bad because it sat for three months. Those are easy fixes. Guest guest
Except for the daily household chores...which takes me about five times longer than it does for a " normal " housewife...I am queen of the Kingdom of Boredom. **************Looking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges? Guest guest
Having joined this list because of my son, I'm not much of a poster. However, all the posts about being bored caught my eye. Regardless of one's physical condition, there is a charity or volunteer group that needs your help! For example .... I cannot speak for both Presidential candidates, but the one I am supporting reaches out to swing states and tries to connect local like-minded folks together with a " calling team " . Once a team member, a link provides a list of people to call, with talking points, a feedback report, etc. The calls can be made from home or at a calling site where everyone uses their cell phone. Making a difference in our world is very rewarding way to end boredom! Kathy ! " A little patience, and we shall see the reign of witches pass over, their spells dissolve, and the people, recovering their true sight, restore their government to its true principles. It is true that in the meantime we are suffering deeply in spirit, and incurring the horrors of a war and long oppressions of enormous public debt. If the game runs sometimes against us at home, we must have patience till luck turns, and then we shall have an opportunity of winning back the principles we have lost, for this is a game where principles are at stake. Guest guest
>Hey Mike, I think we all go there, it's awful but I solve that problem by reading a good book. Books can take you anywhere. A good book, a good snack and my recliner and I'm all set!!!!! I get my books at the library, I like the pocket books, easier to carry and I can get 20 at a time there with no set time to take them back, it's great. It's cheap and sometimes when I can't sleep a book will help me forget the pain. Hope this helps you Mike and everyone....... Wishing you all less pain, Ginny > I dont get it lately I been facing bordem syndrome where Eceryday the > same ol same ol and I get bored Iguess from being disabled anyone else > deal with this. mike group owner >
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I actually have officially signed off the e-mail group(because thank the good Lord I am in some kind of remission) but I still get some mail. This one caught my eye..... I started painting when my pain was so bad. When I say paint I mean little wooden Christmas ornaments ($1.00 ea. at A.C. or any craft store) I also paint bird houses. I don't like paint bowls of fruit or anything. I am not that good. But my sister-in-law has a gift shop and I sell them there. So my little hobby has actually turned into a tiny little part time job LOL Have a pain FREE night everyone.  Jill~Boston Re: bored >Hey Mike, I think we all go there, it's awful but I solve that problem by reading a good book. Guest guest
I hear yeah all on the boredom thing it is the same thing day after day. I get excited when I have a doctors apointment because it means I am going to get out of the house, unlike some of you I am not aloud to drive so I pray for a time when someone can take me somewhere even if it is to the grocery store. All my family works day time jobs and my husband works long hours to make up for being out so much with me that he is barely home that much so mostly it is me the cat and the computer, Oh and the seldom phone call to check and make sure i have taken my medication on time. I mean you can only clean your house so much before it is too clean. After all it is only my husband and I how much mess can the two of us make. Thats why I thank god that I found all of you to talk to because you can all relate to what I go through day after day. Only good thing that has come out of it is I have a really SWEET collection of movies now I have to be able to stay awake to watch them.............LOL Keep On Smiling Kathy Sweet > > > > I dont get it lately I been facing bordem syndrome where Eceryday the > > same ol same ol and I get bored Iguess from being disabled anyone else > > deal with this. mike group owner > > > > > > >
